Trusted teacher: Dear pupils, (parents) and students, I will help you to improve yourself and guide you to be more comfortable in your exam and your further math and physics rode. For pupils (6th grade - Graduation): - Summercourse: If you know already your problems, we will start right away solving these. Otherwise and during that we will go through the basics and your important current topics and devise a plan to let you return better and lighter in the new school year. - (final-) exam preparation (short-term help) We will, in the time available to you, find out the more essential content and skills you need to score higher, develop and improve them. (oral) exam simulation possible - Improvement of grade (long-term) In addition to your current problems, which arise in class, we try to fill gaps in the fundamentals so that your math and physics accomplishments become more effortless and you become more independent, so that less help is needed. Improvement becomes much, much easier and faster with occasional, increased lesson density: e.g. 2 x 45 min over 3 weeks during the holidays and otherwise quieter times. For students: The same applies to the students: However, my experience with most students sais 1 or 2 hours of tutoring per week results to be in in short-term learning mode, because the new content learned is so much more extensive. Either we can have more than 2 hours per week, or we can focus more on learning and working techniques so that you become more successful in your independent work. Summercourse: For Mathematicians and Physicists I do have exercises and more, so that you are able to autonomously engage yourself in important and new topics. I can give you introductions to the different contents, help you solving them, or just help you with arising questions. Furthermore, I can support you to make the transition from school to university easier for you by showing you new work ethics, tools and techniques. For Students after the 2 Semester, we will adapt the classes to your individual needs. Please write me a message to get this started. I will gladly help small groups. Content and classes where I can help you as a student: Maths: -Analysis (one-dimensional, multi-dimensional and complex) Sequences, series, limits, integral and differential calculus, ... - Linear Algebra Systems of equations, vectors, matrices, tensors, basis and transformations, - Differential equations Corresponds roughly to the first two/three semesters of mathematics education or all math content taught to natural scientists in the bachelor's program. Physics: All courses and content in the Bachelor of Physics and for natural scientists: Mechanics, electricity and electrodynamics, quantum mechanics, relativity theory, particle and atomic physics Theoretical and experimental. With yet one exception: Theoretical thermodynamics and statistics For further details and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Best regards, Robert

Trusted teacher: I am an experienced mathematics and physics teacher with state-recognized bachelor's, teacher training, and master's degrees. I am currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in mathematics education. My classes are designed for those who want to overcome their learning difficulties (and have fun doing it), with a patient teacher committed to student development, which benefits their entire education. I strive to give my students the opportunity to discover how mathematics is present in everyday human life (to help people meet their basic needs) and in nature. Everyone can develop their gifts and talents, and my classes provide the appropriate environment for this. I try to explain the content of the theory and its applications whenever possible, demonstrating the relationship between this content and the human needs that have led to its historical development. I try to help students successfully solve problems related to the theories by guiding them step by step through the solution (to promote their competence, autonomy, and confidence in problem-solving), by asking questions, and, when necessary, by providing further examples and explanations that can lead to a deeper understanding. In my classes, there is no criticism or pressure, there's no room for fear of making mistakes (mistakes are part of our learning process). The atmosphere is joyful and healthy, which encourages students to be themselves and feel free to learn, explore, and ask questions in peace and joy. My role as a teacher is to provide conditions and resources that better enable me to help students develop themselves and their potential to the fullest.

Trusted teacher: I have been successfully teaching Swiss students for many years and have gained extensive experience with cantonal education in various regions of Switzerland. As an experienced, local tutor, I am intimately familiar with the requirements, structures, and curricula of the Swiss school system. I have all past exam papers at my disposal and have prepared numerous students for their cantonal and national exams in a targeted, sustained, and highly successful manner. I place particular emphasis on closing knowledge gaps, building self-confidence, and offering each student individualized support that supports them in the best possible way. My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to develop a long-term joy in learning and lay the foundation for academic success. ►Targeted exam preparation for: High school entrance exams BMS & Passerelle exams International Baccalaureate (IB) ETH courses & university modules ZHAW & University of Applied Sciences ► How do I teach? ►I always emphasize a complete understanding of problems, not just learning methods: This ensures you get the maximum benefit from tutoring. I take the time to clarify concepts and address individual questions until everything is truly understood. ►The reason for my success lies in my ability to adapt my learning style to meet the needs of my students. I carefully observe which methods work for each student and adapt my teaching flexibly. ►I offer practical and lively examples to explain concepts in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. This makes theoretical knowledge tangible and ensures long-term retention. ►I am very patient and strive to eliminate the difficulty in key concepts by simplifying seemingly complex procedures. No student is left behind—my goal is a solid foundation. ►I firmly believe in building a positive working relationship with my students. Trust and a relaxed atmosphere are the foundation for sustainable learning success. ►Intensive exam preparation (e.g., during the holidays), subject-specific topic work, or overcoming test anxiety for all ages. Together, we develop a concrete plan and train under realistic conditions. ►I'm also a highly experienced online tutor and can deliver a lesson as effectively as possible in person using an interactive whiteboard. All materials and documents are shared in real time, making the lesson just as productive as in-person. ►Locations: At your home, online, or by appointment. I am flexible and adapt to your wishes and needs to achieve optimal learning results.

Trusted teacher: Reconciling students with mathematics, physics and chemistry: this is the objective that I set for myself. How ? The purpose of this particular course is twofold. On the one hand, to catch up with the student, by helping him to build a solid technical base in the subject of his choice. On the other hand, guide him in his working method by aiming for productivity and academic autonomy. Today, a large number of students remain stuck in front of their notebooks for hours, without assimilating the slightest knowledge. Fascinated by productivity, I have long studied the factors that allow students to shine in their studies. Studying effectively is a skill that is not innate for everyone, but fortunately, it can be learned! Through these courses, I would like to guide students towards a productive way of working, in order to allow them to find an academic independence which will be vital for the transition to higher education. A productive student will achieve better results by working less, which will allow him to savor the material, rather than undergo it. The satisfaction that is derived will then help him to maintain a level of motivation throughout the year. My accompaniment: • Available H24, 7/7, via message/email outside of class to answer urgent questions about a class or an exercise. • Provide additional exercises if necessary. • Organization of “mock” exams to simulate real assessment conditions. • Possibility of giving lessons to two students at the same time if they are in the same class.

I have been working with Pakshal for quite some time now and i have only been improving. He is a very well educated and structured teacher. When something is not clear he does not move on until I understand that point very well. He always has different ways of approach to a specific math problem and he has different ways to solve each. When explaining a solution, he usually explains in different ways that would make it easier to understand. That includes using real life examples. Pakshal is very flexible as well, we are always able to schedule during good times and whenever there is am emergency, we are able to reschedule without any issues. He is a very passionate teacher. He is also a great friend when needed! Definitely recommend him!

The experience with Robert was great and I highly recommend him. The experience with Apprentus, however, was the opposite. If you want to try a single class, they charge you a "membership fee" that costs about the same as the class itself... If you want to avoid the membership fee you have to buy packages of 5 or 10 classes... These fees appear only once you have already been in touch with your teacher and you probably don't want to cancel your meeting anymore. Such hidden fees that appear only at the very end of the booking are anything but customer friendly... So my message is mixed: go for Robert, but not for Apprentus...

Julien helped me learn the material for my university statistics exams. He was very patient and gave very clear explanations about the concepts we were discussing. He was friendly, enthusiastic and encouraging. He prepared material in advance for each lesson depending on my personal needs. I'm pleased to say he helped me succeed in my final exams despite the fact that I'd never really studied statistics before! I am very glad I chose him as my tutor and I recommend him to anyone else seeking mathematics or statistics tutoring, whether in person or remotely.
