As an experienced teacher of mathematics and statistics for the past 10 years, I am able to teach children and adults of all levels, in the best way possible, taking into account their abilities, strengths and weaknesses. I am a fluent French, English and Greek speaker, so the class could be done in any of those three languages. I can also teach French and Greek to non-native speakers. I am available for teaching either in person or online.

Hello, I am an engineering student and I am doing my masters studies in electromechanical engineering at the VUB. I have previous experience in tutoring and helping students with homework after school. I have already taught math, English and physics to 12 different students. My teaching methodology consists mainly of deepening the course material. Then, the student exercises by himself with my help and my intervention if necessary.

14 years experienced Maths & SEN Specialist Teacher Real teacher, real expertise. Over 10,000 hours experience in teaching and tutoring mathematics. I have been teaching in a wide variety of schools for the passed 13 years ranging from high performing private schools to mainstream to international to special educational needs and pupil referral units. I have worked as a Lead Practitioner in Mathematics, HoD, DHoD and SEN Teacher throughout my 13 year career and have coached and mentored many teachers, helping them to develop their learning and teaching. I have a passion for teaching pupils that have SEN, low ability or have gaps in their knowledge. Anyone can teach the top sets or G&T students, easy teaching as you would generally need to explain anything once, but it takes a exceedingly prolific teacher to be able to break down the topic and teach it in several ways. 100% of observations have been outstanding, including many from Ofsted. My pupils make outstanding progress no matter their starting point.

Maths is a subject that can be hard to get a the grade you are actually capable of. To achieve the top grades you can't just rely on hard work and memorising methods - a deep level of understanding is fundamental as in your exam you will find questions that you have never seen before. Years of teaching and tuition have shown me that a bright student can study as much as possible but still get a grade or two less than what was hoped for. By focusing on understanding the concepts behind the more challenging topics, this allows you to problem solve on the spot. If you really understand everything and have good exam technique such as unravelling worded/problem solving questions you will get your desired grade or better. Over the years I have developed a style of teaching that allows me to break down the most difficult problems to their foundations and show how the things they already know fit together to solve these challenging problems. The fact that I am currently tutoring a student who was in set 4 last year and is now consistently getting 9s on past papers is one of many examples of what you can expect from my lessons. I also teach a year 8 student A level Maths, he is very bright but not top set. I cater my lessons to my students by being aware of weak spots, strengths and knowing exactly what level they are working at and how to get them to where they want to be. I have countless success stories and testimonials which I would be happy to provide.

I prepare students of all categories including beginners/ intermediate/ advanced level to advance score in their respective board exams. I will not just teach the content, cue students to learn on their own (heuristic method), act as a mentor to guide you to stretch further in your Mathematics studies. You will learn concepts, practice math problems from different worksheets designed chapter wise, practice past paper questions chapter wise and grand tests, discuss solutions for mistaken questions. I am a double postgraduate in Mathematics and education. I have taught Math in 4 countries including India, Maldives, Eritrea and China( Yantai, Shanghai, Beijing) for 14+ years.

The math course in general is the most difficult course to understand and assimilate by pupils and students, for this, I have in my way of explanation to facilitate the concepts, and to make it as understandable as possible .

Each class duration is 60 minutes. I usually start with teaching the main objectives of each chapter, followed by questions then problems to solve. I challenge my students to get better every day in subjects than they were yesterday. One more thing i would like to add is that i'm flexible with my teaching style (over 9 years of tutoring experience) and my ultimate goal is to help my students to become independent learners. I am confident that my passion and experience are the qualities you are looking for!

My name is Dylan and I am a Masters student at Leiden University, studying Astronomy and Cosmology. I received my baccalaureate degree (B.Sc in Physics with Astronomy) from Dublin City University, Ireland, in 2015. I graduated with the highest marks in the class, due not only to my study and hard work, but also my exam technique. Therefore, in our lessons we will not only discuss the topics of the subject but also the exams associated with the subject. Being comfortable with the layout of the exam and the types of questions asked/language used is of huge benefit to our confidence, and therefore performance, in the exam. To that extent, I offer to travel to a location of the students choosing for the lessons; the idea being that the student should feel more comfortable/confident in familiar surroundings and that a relaxed mind is conducive to learning. Webcam lessons are also available. Math classes I took at university level include: Linear Algebra, Calculus of Several Variables, Differential Equations, Statistics. Physics classes taken at university level include: Quantum Physics, Relativity, Electrodynamics, Mechanics, Cosmology, Spectroscopy Computer Science classes include: C/C++ Programming, Image Processing & Analysis

I specialized in tutoring maths and computing. My goal is to keep students engaged throughout the lesson. I also assign assignments at the end of every lesson. The focus is engaged students in any mathematics problem that is challenging and computer as well.

Mathematics is one of the most crucial subjects in today's world. It provides a base to build analytical and logical skills in a person, which are very necessary skills to have moving forward in the career. Being a Computer science graduate from one of the top institutes I know how to guide a student on building concepts in this critical subject. Having scored 50 out of 51 in GMAT in quantitative aptitude I can help a student in preparing for competitions as well.
