Math: I do math subjects up to Algebra 1 and Geometry. I try to go over material that students do not know or need help with, I go over concepts step by step, and then have students try problems on their own so they can practice the concepts they learned. If they do not understand how to do something right away, I then have students go over how they did a problem step by step in order to find where they went wrong. Then I help them with the wrong step and then have the students practice problems on their own again. This is how I approach math tutoring. If you are interested in having your students tutor with me (I am primarily tutoring online) Please take a look at my profile and let me know if you are interested. Thank you for your time and consideration. English: I have a TESOL Certificate from Arizona State University. I would be able to create lesson plans and tutor students for Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking lessons. I like to focus on topics students would like or would know about, such as their hobbies, their favorite movies or shows, or their schoolwork or school activities (or work if they are an older student). This is an easy way to have students use the English language in a way that relates to them. I have also learned how to create lesson plans with warm-ups, guided activities (with the teacher), independent activities (students practice by themselves with a little bit of guidance), and assessment (determining if the student has learned the topic of the lesson).
