Hello ! My name is Chloe and I am an experienced english tutor. Although I am new to this site, I have done many years of tutoring in the past and hope to do many more through this platform ! English is my native tongue, having grown up in the United States. Once I moved to Brussels, I decided to continue my studies in english in order to maintain a fluent level and perhaps someday teach it ! Tutoring is something i’ve been doing for several years now (in my neighborhood). It was originally for extra pocket money, but quickly turned into a hobby I very much enjoy and would now like to dedicate more time to ! I’ve helped kids as young as the age of 4 to adults who simply wanted to brush up on their english ! Any age or level is perfect for me. I do 45-60 minute lessons. I personally recommend 45 minutes to keep the student focused and not overloaded with information. Teaching style depends on the individual; we can work purely with language rules and technique or learn through literature and short films ! Don’t hesitate to send me a message if you have any questions. ————————————————————— Bonjour !

Opening a school is one of my biggest ambitions, When I was younger I was a curious student, and uncomfortable with the school system. Of those whose abilities are praised and who are sorry for the lack of discipline. So I learned to learn by myself, and found myself to be a form of self-taught who persevered in validating diplomas with flying colors, and not to deprive myself of doing something else. In short, I learned to learn and trust myself while being demanding with myself, I am fortunate to know how to tame my brain so that knowledge is a desire, not a chore. You never learn better than when you like it, when you find it attractive. So this is what I want to give, confidence, keys, desire and results. We are here to succeed.

The proposal consists of a theoretical / practical methodology, which is why each class is divided between exposing the content and putting it into practice. Likewise, the information is organized into 5 units: Editorial pillars; Technical aspects of writing; Professional writing of writings; Scientific writing of texts and articles; and Editing and proofreading.

Dear All, Whether you are new to learning the French language, whether you wish to enrich your knowledge or whether you are aiming for its oral, written and literary mastery, I will be happy to share my passion for the French language with you. I offer private lessons adapted to your current level and your ambitions, in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. We will cover these four key chapters together through a continuous, methodical and participatory learning process: - Grammar; - Vocabulary; - Punctuation; and - Oral pronunciation. It should be noted that the course dedicated to beginners includes a detailed and complete introduction of one hour preparing for the development of the four chapters mentioned above. In a more personalized approach and at your request, we can also address and deepen more specific topics, such as: - the syntax ; - the analysis of text(s); - literary genres; - the history of the language and its roots (Greco-Latin); - the linguistic and communicational specificities within the Francophonie; - reading a book of your choice or my recommendation (from "The Little Prince" by Saint-Exupéry to "Un Amour de Swann" by Marcel Proust). The private lessons that I offer you can, of course, be part of the continuity or the reinforcement of academic courses that you would already follow at school, at the University or elsewhere. As such, your personal media will be welcome (books, notebooks, sheets, etc.). Hoping to be able to contribute to your learning, I remain at your disposal for any further information and wish you much success in your efforts. Yours sincerely, Stephane

I specialize in tutoring secondary school students in English language and literature, particularly students from international schools. I am familiar with the IB-programme and similiar programmes. However, exceptions can be made for other students. I am fluent in both Dutch and English, so tutoring in either language would not be an issue from me. I would prefer to tutor in the area where I live, but exceptions can always be made. Travel costs are not included in the hourly price. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested! 😊

Just graduated from the National School of Visual Arts of La Cambre with great distinction after a master's in scenography (September 2019), I continue my artistic activity today by collaborating with several directors, while developing my practice of the writing (prose mixed with the tone of the essay, theatrical monologue, short story...) in various forms, ranging from books to installations. Attached to the musicality of the French language and the imaginations of literature, I am committed to transmitting this pleasure of words to others, in an instinctive, hybrid, nourishing and joyful approach. On the program: reading and study of literary works freely chosen, grammar and spelling points adapted to needs, homework help, pronunciation and expression work. I am sensitive to the idea of rewarding learning where knowledge is transmitted horizontally, no longer from teacher to student, but from one potential to another potential. Sharing knowledge is for me a fundamental point in opening up to the world, and it is with attention, curiosity and enthusiasm that I intend to help.
