In this class, you can learn how to play this incredible instrument, as well as develop music theory knowledge such as reading scores, basic harmony, and rhythm. You will also learn how to develop your own musical ideas and find a personal way to express them! Students of all ages can contact me to follow private lessons live in Brussels or Antwerp or online (via Zoom). I am a classical/jazz-trained pianist and composer who graduated "magna cum laude" with a Master's degree in Composition at the Royale Conservatoire of Antwerp. As a pianist and music teacher, I have several years of experience in private and public schools in Italy and I'm now teaching at the Royale Conservatoire of Antwerp. I am familiar with the classical and jazz repertoire as well as with 20th and 21st-century music. I'm passionate about introducing this beautiful and exciting field of art and its related knowledge. If you don't have any music experience or if you already know music and want to develop or study a particular argument, my classes focus on the construction of a personalized study trajectory and methods based on the level, interests, and expectations of the student! The most important thing for me is to keep creativity and interest always stimulated for you to develop or continue to grow your love for music!

I have been teaching piano for several years to students of all levels (beginners, intermediate and advanced), children and adults alike. My method is based on a freer and less academic approach than that of music theory for those who wish to develop their musical ear without prior classical knowledge (Although we will do a little bit of it anyway but in a simplified way). You will discover that it is not necessarily necessary or obligatory to know how to read a score to play music. A lot of professional musicians (Paul McCartney for example) do not know how to read notes! I will help you get familiar with harmony and rhythm. We will learn how to compose simple and then more complex melodies and chords in all their various forms with the right hand. And we will also see how to accompany with the left hand.
