I am a flexible tutor with two years experience teaching piano to children, teenagers and adults alike. I am available for one-on-one lessons and group lessons. I pride myself in developing an understanding of individual needs and goals for the piano and designing lessons that cater to these. With over twelve years experience learning and playing the piano across a variety of genres and styles, from classical to jazz to swing to contemporary, I will be able to cater to beginners and experienced players alike! My lessons will help you get started on the piano, learn piano theory, piano scales and piano modes. You will learn to improve your counting skills, learn popular songs, develop your improvisational skills and much more! I have a valid working with children's check and am able to conduct lessons via Zoom or at the student's location.

I graduated in piano from the University of Aveiro (in the class of Álvaro Teixeira Lopes) and I will soon begin my master's degree in performance at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (with Aleksandar Madžar), while also taking courses with Olivier Gardon. Throughout my career, I have won prizes at international competitions in Portugal, Italy, and Austria, and I was also a finalist in Spain. As a pianist, I have had the opportunity to perform on stage in Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, and Austria. I am constantly seeking to improve myself, which has led me to participate in masterclasses and take courses with renowned professors, such as Ricardo Castro, Mamiko Suda, Giuseppe Andaloro, Vagharshak Aratunyan, Josep Colom, among many others. I have had the great opportunity to give piano lessons and lead masterclasses, and in recent years, to share my experience and perspective with students of all ages and from diverse backgrounds.
