(Eng below) Jag är en Tysk pianist och pianolärare med en masterexamen i piano från Kungliga Musikhögskolan. Under de senaste 24 åren har jag tränat både klassiskt och jazz piano och samlat på mig en hel del internationell erfarenhet inom många olika musikaliska områden både som solist och ensemble spelare. Jag har erfarenhet av att arbeta med elever i alla åldrar och på alla nivåer och att arbeta med alla typer av material. Jag har en tålmodig och stödjande undervisningsstil och jag är dedikerad till att skapa en positiv inlärningsmiljö för mina elever. Jag brinner för att hjälpa varje elev att nå sin fulla potential och jag kan anpassa min undervisningsstil till varje elevs individuella behov och preferenser. Jag hjälper dig gärna att ta de första stegen för att lära dig pianot eller arbetar tillsammans med dig mot ett individuellt mål t.ex. att lära dig ett specifikt stycke, improvisation eller förbereda dig för en konsert. Jag ser fram emot att träffa dig! I am a skilled German pianist and teacher with a masters Degree in piano from Kungliga Musikhögskolan. In the past 24 years, I have trained both classical and jazz piano and gathered a lot of international experience in many different musical fields both as soloist and ensemble player. I have experience with working with students of all ages and skill levels and working with every kind of material. I have a patient and supportive teaching style, and I am dedicated to creating a positive learning environment for my students. I am passionate about helping each student reach their full potential and I am able to adapt my teaching style to the individual needs and preferences of each student. Playing the drums can help people express themselves and get in touch with their emotional state. You will learn how to play drums for different kind of music in a band, or you can learn how to be a professional drummer.

Would you classify improvisation as composition or performance? Well actually it is both! When you improvise you are composing music on the spot, performing what you have made up at the same time as you have composed it. For many people improvisation is a scary word and having to improvise in a group or band is an alarming prospect. However, this really does not need to be the case. As long as you have a basic knowledge of how to play your instrument you will be able to improvise. Once you know the principle of how chords are formed you will soon be improvising with ease. The key to success is understanding chords. Once you know how chords are formed and know what notes make up a few chords you will be well on your way towards being able to improvise. We will, therefore, start by ensuring a firm knowledge of certain chords. After this we will progress to improvising a simple melody over the top of these chords. The next stage is to start using notes that are not in the chord. The process is then open ended with emphasis on developing the melody. If you play a keyboard instrument you will be able to improvise your own pieces and be able to entertain your friends at a moments notice. On the other hand if you play in a band or a group you will be well equipped to do a real 'jam' session. Whether you play a single line instrument (flute, saxophone, trumpet, violin etc.) or keyboard instruments, this class is for you.

Ik ben Mark, pianist en student aan Conservatorium Maastricht. In 2026 werd ik toegelaten tot zowel Berklee College of Music (VS) als Conservatorium Maastricht, waar ik ervoor koos mijn studie voort te zetten. Ik geef pianolessen aan leerlingen van alle leeftijden en niveaus. Tijdens de lessen werken we aan pianotechniek, muzikaliteit, improvisatie, gehoortraining en muziektheorie, altijd afgestemd op jouw persoonlijke doelen en muzikale interesses. Je kunt kiezen voor klassieke piano, jazz, improvisatie of een combinatie hiervan. Of je nu helemaal vanaf het begin begint, al ervaring hebt of je voorbereidt op een toelatingsexamen of conservatoriumstudie, ik pas de lessen aan jouw niveau en doelen aan. Mijn lessen zijn persoonlijk, gestructureerd en ontspannen. Mijn doel is niet alleen om je te leren piano spelen, maar ook om je muzikale inzicht, creativiteit en zelfvertrouwen te ontwikkelen. Ik geef les in het Engels en Russisch. De lessen kunnen online plaatsvinden of persoonlijk in Maastricht en omliggende steden.
