Young dynamic teacher, graduate in conservatory and with a great experience in musical education, I offer piano lessons either at your home or by videoconference via Skype, WhatsApp or Zoom (effectiveness guaranteed!). I will cover various essential aspects for an optimal progression on the piano, such as the positioning of the hands, the understanding of the score, the training of the musical ear, the deciphering of pieces, as well as the learning of harmony and improvisation. All styles are taught, whether classical, boogie woogie, jazz, or variety. My classes are for all ages, and even beginners are welcome! Group lessons are also an option. Numerous concerts and recording studio sessions. Compositions/arrangements/orchestrations and orchestral conducting (in particular for Rhythm Section, String Section, Brass Combos and Big Band). I use the Berklee College of Music Methodology where I was trained for 8 semesters. My teaching method is based on two points: Orality and reading. Indeed, music being a language, it is spoken and written. It has a grammar, a conjugation, the aim of which is simply to be able to express oneself freely. My teaching background, and the many training courses I have followed, as well as my experience as a musician allow me to offer teaching adapted to everyone, and to all desires: Pop-Jazz or Classical music theory. I base my classes on passion or creating this passion. Far from me the idea of following a basic and linear program of learning, when it comes to art, we talk about sensations, feelings and emotions! It is therefore necessary to create the musical envy in the student and for that three points are essential: -Listening: What does the student want? Make it a job? a passion ? Discover an instrument? This is the most important point, because it allows to glimpse the desires of the student in order to prepare a tailor-made educational program so that it is in perfect adequacy with his training and his desires. Curiosity: It's good to know how to play an instrument, understand it better! I give my classes a cultural dimension to be able to undertake music. It is very important to play well, to understand what we play to be able to grasp all the ins and outs and, who knows, reproduce one day in personal compositions. - Fun: Playing an instrument is above all fun. This dimension is just as important as working your exercises because without pleasure, there will be no emotions. And without emotions the quality of the game is diminished ... It is for this reason that I try as much as possible to transmit my passion and what makes me feel the music since small to my student.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. Hey there! My name is Dominic, and I'll be providing you with everything you need to reach your musical goals, whichever those may be. These lessons consist of piano tutoring, in which we can go over any style you may be interested in. I'll also be providing any sheet music and exercises you may need or I may think are necessary. I'm currently a piano and music theory teacher at AMT, which is an institution near my hometown. I've got a full 8 year music course (mostly focused on classical piano), which I successfully completed in 2025. I've also got a year of music teaching experience on my shoulders, as well as plenty of experience helping younglings and less experienced musicians with any difficulties they may have had over the years.
