I love Italy, its culture and language, and this resulted in a Master in Italian (and a Bachelor in French). Before I moved to Sweden I travelled with my former husband throughout the world. We lived in Australia, USA and in Europe speaking all their different languages. So, languages are a kind of “my thing”. With me you can learn Italian at all levels; from your first approach to the most advanced. I like to give you tailor-fit lessons, which I will prepare in advance. Afterwards I will give you direct personal feed-back like transcripts of our conversation which could be of help for your further learning. I care mostly about speaking and learning the Italian culture, but also about right grammar use and vocabulary. Having learned French myself through direct contact with native speakers, I place great importance on learning through practical use of the language. Therefore, after discussing your goals and language level, I will offer you numerous role-playing exercises to ensure that learning vocabulary, grammar rules, and typical expressions is immediate and enjoyable. Depending on your goals, we can then focus in more detail on the points that are causing you difficulty, which I will explain while giving you tips to aid memorization. I can even trace the origins of certain expressions, if you're interested, to gain a deeper understanding of the language's structure and its hidden similarities with French.
