Conversation practice is an essential aspect of language learning. It will help you to improve your speaking and listening skills, build your confidence, develop fluency, enhance vocabulary, and understand cultural nuances. In these lessons, we'll talk about topics you are interested in and/or I will suggest an interesting topic per lesson. We'll use pictures, videos and texts to engage in active conversation. I will provide all the materials. Just come to enjoy a language adventure in Spanish!

Each class is aimed at providing a friendly literary adventure. After reading authentic texts by celebrated authors, we will mainly focus on intensive conversation practice. You will ask questions, make predictions, form hypotheses, use your imagination, background knowledge and personal experience. There will be vocabulary and some grammar practice too if you want. We'll use short stories and tales written by celebrated authors from Argentina, Uruguay, Chile and Spain.

The most exciting part about learning a language is communicating – it’s the real reason we fall in love with languages in the first place – we want to have the ability to talk to anyone, from anywhere in the world. By engaging in conversation about different topics I will help you to move your knowledge of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation from the back of your mind to the front. The more you speak, the more you will build up your fluency. I will suggest engaging topics based on your interests and motivations.
