Trusted teacher: My guitar lessons are a real experience for those who study with me. What matters most to me is that my student can fulfill his desires with the guitar and music. I do not impose predetermined classes, but I leave the person free to express what he wants to learn. I am helpful in transmitting to you the skills that are right for you. When you enter my studio room it is like stopping time and being able to focus on yourself, on your sensations and on what really makes you happy with the guitar. There will be work to do, but I promise that the journey will be pleasant and the result incredible. You will discover that you are capable of doing great things! About Pierpa: Pierpaolo is a guitarist and composer born in 1995 from central Italy (Le Marche, Recanati). Trusted teacher: Raphaël, 39 years old, 25 years of instrumental practice, I teach guitar and singing, all classical styles (for guitar) or rock (electric or acoustic) as well as all current music: improvised jazz, reggae, French song, bossa, etc... I have 22 years of experience teaching private lessons. I have held the State Diploma of Music Teacher in the discipline of current music since 2021. I learned music in private lessons, classical then electric guitar, formed my first bands at the age of 17. I then studied jazz guitar and improvisation in private lessons and at the conservatory, participating for 4 years in a jazz big band on guitar then bass. I have been singing self-taught since the age of 20. I then set up my own indie and experimental rock projects, producing seven albums and more than a hundred concerts as a guitarist and lead singer. My method for the guitar: technical work on posture, relaxation and breathing, rapid establishment of a repertoire chosen in consultation with the student, accessible and beneficial to their improvement, development of work autonomy, work on knowledge of the neck in a fun way and development of listening and musical culture. The emphasis is placed on rhythm work with the aim of developing collective practice. My singing method: work on relaxation and breathing. Ear training is essential, and practice with a harmonic instrument is recommended. In addition to all the points mentioned above. Possibility of music theory lessons: reading of scores, grids, theoretical knowledge and understanding of concepts and harmony. I receive classes at my home or online.

Matéo - Paris, FranceC$60
Trusted teacher: Hello, welcome to my ad! My name is Matéo and I am 26 years old. I have been playing guitar for 9 years and teaching it for 5 years. After studying at the conservatory and music school, I obtained my Diploma of Musical Studies (DEM) specializing in jazz guitar. Over the years, I have been able to accompany around forty students, both in private lessons, group lessons and at the conservatory where I teach today. OPTION1) The course I offer is aimed at beginner to intermediate level guitarists, of all ages (children too!), in acoustic and electric guitar. My goal is to give you the essential basics of the instrument (body position, technique, chords) as well as an understanding of fundamental musical concepts (rhythm, ear, reading tablature and/or music theory) which will be very useful to you as a musician. We will base our learning as quickly as possible on real pieces of music, if possible suggested by the student because I think that learning by playing the music you like is the most motivating method. As a teacher, I have always adapted as best I could to each profile to make them learn in the way that suited them best, make them play the music they like, help them with their difficulties and push them to surpass themselves in their abilities. Finally, I always make sure that the lessons take place in a calm and pleasant atmosphere so that the student progresses at their own pace and learns while having fun. OPTION 2) This course is for intermediate to advanced guitarists (and musicians in general) who want to acquire a deeper understanding of music theory. What we can cover, depending on your needs: analysis, harmony, composition, transcription, improvisation, music theory, ... Lessons can take place at my home, in the 15th arrondissement, or at the student's home where I can travel (for an extra) within a reasonable radius. Declared via CESU (Universal Employment Service Check) or self-employed invoice.

Giorgos

rating green star
Giorgos has continually shown in every class I've taken with him to have a very good rapport with students and great teaching competence, showing the ability to explain topics, questions and mistakes in a way that the student understands and learns from. He's supportive of the level of knowledge, goals and the different musical tastes of students, allowing the diversification of the topics and repertoire studied in class, thus creating an excellent learning environment. In short simply 10/10. Excellent professor! Definitely recommend him to those who want to learn or/and better their skills at the instrument.
