I've played guitar for over 10 years, and have taught many people during that time. I prefer to play by ear, so i can help you develop your own musical ear, which unlocks the ability to improvise, jam with other musicians, and understand music to a deeper degree. Bring me a song you'd like to play, and we'll work through others to help build upon the techniques you'll need to be able to play freely and accuratley, the music you'd like to play.

I teach guitar lessons, bass, writing, arrangement and MAO for all levels in Toulouse, in the Saint-Michel district. My strong point: the courses for beginners. I suggest you learn to play your instrument and especially to learn music. The courses are individual and personalized. You work on the pieces you want to play. I build the educational path based on these pieces, your expectations and your level (beginner to professional). I focus on music, language, expression, interpretation, perception of rhythm and sounds. Music is a living language. You did not learn your native language by reading a dictionary or grammar treatise. You have acquired your language by practicing, listening, imitating. Music theory is the equivalent of writing and will only be used if you really need it or want it. The music theory and the theoretical notions will be introduced as the pieces you play contain them. Thus, you can better understand their origin and especially the usefulness they can have for you. Do not hesitate to contact me if you want more information.

I teach every little thing a guitarist should know, like the correct hand techniques, reading music, and music theory (in a very practical way). And can teach all styles, all guitars and all levels. But most of all, my biggest passion and mission in life is to help you to be more creative and expressive. And the guitar is the best way to achieve it, of course. I encourage all my students to write music, improvise, and find their own path, voice, and sound on the guitar. Creating music is not only really fun, but it’s also the most valuable way to learn guitar and understand music on a deeper level. My current guitar students range from complete beginners to advanced guitarists. They want to embrace the joy of music in their lives and unlock their creative potential by improvising, songwriting, and music composing. Some of them work towards their diplomas and concerts, and I’m happy to support them along the journey and get great results. I believe that there are many paths to learning guitar, and I accommodate and design a plan according to your individual goals and needs. In the literature, it’s called “student-led”, and I am firmly convinced that this is the most suitable way to learn.

In these confusing times, you might be finding it difficult to keep your kids entertained all day, so if I can be of any help I would like to suggest online guitar lessons. I am a Music Production Student at Leeds College of Music and have been teaching guitar for over three years now. My class is focused on practical learning and having fun. I learnt to play guitar by simply playing it and I believe that is the best way of learning, especially for children as they won't want to pick up the instrument if they don't like what they're learning. I tailor my classes to the music the student likes as I have a strong knowledge of most modern music. I like to finish my classes by asking my students if there's a song they would like to learn next and I will focus our next lesson around that track.

I have started to play when I was 6 with classical music, but since then I have studied and played in very different styles and formations (jazz, blues, rock, reggae, funk etc). Nowadays I play classical and jazz music mainly but I am also member of a rock band and a pop formation, and from time to time I make a trip to play blues, funk, reggae, folk or any type of music really, because every one of them has its own "secrets ingredients" what I love. Besides that, I give private lessons for adults and kids for more than a decade. I deeply believe in that and my experiences tell me: everyone can be taught to play on guitar. The only, but most important key is that every one of us has his own personal way to reach it. With your help, I am sure I will be able to find your key to the endless world of music. The lessons can be at your or at my place. Ervin

I am a pro guitar player with 30 years' experience. I play in the US rock band One Eleven Heavy but am based here in Valencia, Spain. I will take you through the basics of guitar playing - forming chord shapes, learning picking and strumming techniques, playing simple songs. Once we have a few basics down, I will start to take you through various scales and modes, enabling you to learn how guitar players construct chords and solos, all of which lead to the ability to write songs. We can start at your level and work at your pace. Each and every learner has her/his own speed and style of learning and that will be fully taken into account. We can devise a programme of learning before you even pick up the guitar to practise. Ideally classes will take place in my home in Náquera, Valencia, as face-to-face work is much more conducive to achievement, but I am also available to educate online via Zoom/Teams. I am not a Spanish speaker, so these classes are primarily for those who speak English. However, we can very likely proceed even if you don't speak English as music is, of course, universal.
