I discuss with the students about their goals, motivations and expectations and, taken into consideration their age and their level, I adopt the lessons in their needs following with respect their rhythm of learning and their availability. I think that it is very important to create a pleasant atmosphere so that the communication between each other may be enabled and, at the same time, empowering the process of acquisition. Also, culture, history, music, poetry etc. are being incorporated to the courses to enrich the process of learning and create a more complete experience of language acquisition.

GREEK: The teacher of this subject is addressed to non Greek speakers interested in learning the Modern Greek language. The learner will acquire the language skills necessary for basic activities and situations that they might need, such as introducing him/herself and of course various kinds of communication in Greek like Interpersonal Communication, communication with a doctor, etc. ANCIENT GREEK: The learner will acquire good basic knowledge of Ancient Greek and he/she will be able, gradually, to understand the ancient Greek texts from the original. He/She will be taught on a text-centric basis starting with "made-up" or adapted texts and over the time he/she will come into contact with authentic ancient texts. At the end learners will be able to understand all the basic morphological and syntactic phenomena of Ancient Greek in their contextual context. GRAMMAR: Grammar is incorporated in the above courses because it is considered as a very important element in the learning of a language by the teacher.

During the first lesson the student will take an initial assessment which covers all the statutory requirements that are needed to be met by the student according to the National British Curriculum. This is done to verify all the weaknesses of the student. The following lessons will consist of working through all the topics of the curriculum mostly focusing on the topics which the student struggles with.
