I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos. I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. Because I have learned French myself (and I am still learning other languages), I can easily put myself in a student's shoes. I can teach in French, Dutch, English, German and Russian.

Western Armenian is a language that has been put in the endangered language's list, and I personally believe that such a rich language should never die. I believe that I am taking a huge initiative to be one of the individuals who'll try to save this important language from disappearing. I try to make my lessons as interacting as possible. The lessons and exercises will be provided through PowerPoint presentations. I try to listen to my student in order to prepare the lesson plan together, according to his needs and preferences. Many French people admit not feeling at ease when they have to express themselves in English to English-speaking people. They understand well what they hear but do not have solid keys to express themselves with ease, fluidity, by constructing rich sentences. They think that what they lack the most is the vocabulary but generally, what they lack the most are grammatical keys on which to build everything. The grammar of a language is the equivalent of the foundations of a house. Without foundations, a house crumbles. Without grammar, the expression remains wobbly, approximate, even false to the point of sometimes becoming incomprehensible. This is why I offer private lessons exclusively in English grammar to allow you to weld your "foundations" and free your expression by giving you confidence. Together, we will take, deepen and consolidate your grammatical knowledge We will reinforce your mastery of the fundamental structures of the language and will also work on the idioms which English people love and which will allow you to make a difference. In order to progress in the best possible conditions, I offer private lessons in the evening of 1h or 1h30: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday mornings between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. or afternoon between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

I was born in Istanbul in 1983. I started teaching Turkish while studying Turkish Language and Literature at university. I worked in a language school and at universities. I have been teaching Turkish professionally for more than 16 years. I also taught Turkish for 5 years when I was a university student. In 2018, I obtained a TESOL certificate and also began teaching English. I teach both adults and children. Creating a comfortable learning environment for my students is one of my top priorities. Even though I use a communicative approach, my lessons are supported by a solid understanding of grammar, as Turkish has a very different structure. I use the course book set prepared by Istanbul University. It follows a strategic approach to learning Turkish and includes all language skills—reading, grammar, writing, listening, watching, and speaking—from A1 to C2. All of these skills are essential for conversation. I teach English for the A1 and A2 levels. The workbook offers many exercises for homework or revision, and I support the book with my own authentic materials. I also use an interactive board that you can view anytime, and you can edit it as well. Repetition-based speaking practice plays an important role in my lessons. I speak English well, and a bit of Italian, and I have also studied Persian and German grammar. I am interested in literature. One-on-one lessons on Apprentus are just for you.
