General monitoring of homework by a medical student. Hello my name is Thomas. I am currently in my 3rd year of medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of Tours and have a Scientific Baccalaureate with honors, to which is associated a European English mention (philosophy option in English). I live in Tours-centre and do not have a car but can get around by bike / public transport. You can call on me to carry out a "global" follow-up of homework (accompanying students daily to do their homework, while taking the time to take up notions that may pose difficulties or deepen certain knowledge). I can also intervene for reinforcement in certain specific subjects (scientific or non-scientific), depending on the level requested. On the occasion of the courses that I can give, I also transmit many methodological advice / aids that I myself have been able to acquire during my career. I can thus intervene with students in order to make points on “methodology and organization of work”. I address students whose school level goes from primary to high school (see post-baccalaureate for the subjects present in the 1st year of medicine), depending on the different subjects. The hourly rate varies according to the school level of the student to be accompanied. I have a habit, during my lessons, of systematically going over the theoretical bases present in the students' lessons, in order to be able to carry out as many exercises as possible afterwards in the best conditions. I offer you a new learning experience. To the uninitiated, a grammar book seems to be written in another language because the meaning of the words is incomprehensible. In a down-to-earth way, I'll translate the grammar into familiar words. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning while having a positive mindset. You can book a complete course with regular sessions or individual lessons to overcome a specific problem, such as pronunciation or a particular point in grammar. Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise. There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge: When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next. When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach.
