We can focus on one of the basic skills: Speaking, listening, writing or reading, or work on these different skills together, depending on your needs and interests. I have experience preparing students for their language exams (also for German and English). I can contribute my own experience with foreign language exams, because exam success is often determined not only by your language knowledge, but also by how the tasks are completed. Indeed, each exam has its specificities, so we can also work on strategies specific to an exam.

Are you passionate about French literature, literary history and the arts? I suggest that we go, together, to discover the great authors who have made our country so charming. Because I believe in a harmony of things, in a correlation of values, I propose a multidisciplinary approach to French Literature. A method combining modern literature (biographies of authors and study of texts; grammar) strictly speaking with literary history and sociology, rhetoric and philosophy, foreign literature, and art in general (theater, opera, cinema, writing, etc.) . Inspired by the Socratic method, mine is marked by dialogue, exchange, incessant questioning more than masterful lessons. Starting from the needs of the learner, from which I also learn, we develop areas of study together. Expertise: Published and awarded writer, for my poetry and short stories in particular, I give lectures and give radio columns on politics and culture. I specialize in 19th century literature and poetry. Educational background: Student in Modern Literature, holder of a literary baccalaureate, former legal student.

I offer French lessons to help you learn the language, fill in possible gaps, and support you in homework help, all in a fun way. I approach the subject according to the profile of the student: some need to spend more time to understand and others to do more exercises. I therefore adapt to each one in order to optimize the study time and improve the student's knowledge.

I am using different methods depending on the level and age of the person. Before the first lesson, I'll test their level and goal and then I propose a studying plan. I send them exercises by email after each lesson and correct them (for free) during my free time for them to improve faster. The lessons are taken in my beautiful sailing boat but I can also come to my student's place with an extra cost for the transport. I also can give webcam lessons. When the weather allows it, I sometimes propose to my students to give them the lesson with bonus sailing! (in this case only for conversation lessons).

Hello! Want to learn French and looking for a teacher? I’m the one you’re looking for! If you choose to begin this adventure with me, I’ll make sure you progress to reach the goals you have through interesting conversations on the subjects you want. You will see that becoming fluent is easy when you have someone to talk to and to laugh with. I don’t want you to think that practicing a language is a chore and something that needs to be done before going out. Being able to speak fluently any language opens the door to more life experiences as well as opening your mind to what is around you. It’s a gift but it’s a gift you work for, not something you’re born with. It requires work and commitment, but don’t worry, I’ll be there to guide you through each milestone!

The French language can come across as a very difficult one (I know...). With my teaching experience, my experience as a translator and love for my mother tongue, I believe I can make you change your mind and help you becoming fluent or at least help you understand much more of this "langue de l'amour". Together, we can find the topic(s) in which you are interested and start from there. Keeping in mind that practice makes perfect, I believe writing essays (and improving them afterwards) helps. I therefore often give short assignments to keep the learning process going after the class. I have been teaching online for the last few months and came up with some new ideas, so whether we organise the class online or somewhere in Berlin, is entirely up to you! So, when should we start? :)
