I learned to be a French teacher at a French school in Mexico, so I have the right technique for teaching a language and helping students memorize it. I teach at beginner, intermediate, advanced, and proficiency levels. I provide all the necessary materials, including textbooks with lessons and exercises. A class with me is structured in five stages: review of the previous lesson, introduction of new vocabulary or conjugations (3x3 technique), interaction, writing and exercises, as well as games related to the topic. With my methodology, I hardly speak Spanish during class, which allows your ear to easily adapt and you to understand French quickly. I also focus a lot on interaction, so you will be able to speak confidently and fluently, enabling you to communicate with native speakers. In a year or a year and a half (depending on the frequency of classes), you will reach an intermediate level. You can also request a general proficiency session, where I will prepare a topic for exchanging ideas, or if you need to work on a particular grammar rule. A brief history of the Spanish language : Spanish, like French, Italian, Romanian, and Portuguese, is a Romance language and as such evolved from Vulgar Latin. It originated in the Iberian Peninsula, which today is home to Spain and Portugal. In the United States, more than 41 million people speak Spanish as their mother tongue (approximately 13% of the population) and that number is only growing. In addition, the United States has nearly 12 million bilingual Spanish speakers. That makes it the second country with the most Spanish speakers in the world after Mexico, and there are studies that assure that it will become the country with the most Spanish speakers in 2060. Americans who don't speak Spanish yet are trying to learn it. In fact, Spanish is the most widely learned language in the US, with 50% of college students choosing to learn Spanish, compared to 12% who prefer French. I offer you a new learning experience. To the uninitiated, a grammar book seems to be written in another language because the meaning of the words is incomprehensible. In a down-to-earth way, I'll translate the grammar into familiar words. With my tailor-made teaching you will accelerate your learning while having a positive mindset. You can book a complete course with regular sessions or individual lessons to overcome a specific problem, such as pronunciation or a particular point in grammar. Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise. There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge: When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next. When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach.
