Hi I am 21 years old and am currently a student at Leiden University doing a bachelor of sciences in environmental sustainability. I completed my A levels in Maths, Physics and Biology with grades A in Maths and Biology. I also did an AS level in Chemistry from the British School in the Netherlands. I love science and geography and did my primary education in English and got all grade 9s in my science and geography GCSEs and a grade 8 in Maths. I have some prior tutoring experiences as well so I hope I will be able to use it all to help you get your target grades for any exam. I am able to provide lessons in any sciences, geography, English or Maths topics that are at GCSE level or below! I can also help with any subject such as Drama, Food tech or History!

My IB tutoring sessions provide a structured and student-led environment where learners are in charge of their own progress. With seven years of experience teaching the IB DP, I have taught and can help with Geography, ESS, History, and TOK. Additionally, I have been guiding students through the Extended Essay as the EE coordinator for three years, so I know the IB and have the resources to help students develop organization, critical thinking, and research skills that foster confidence and independence in the diploma. Being new to the Netherlands, I have a flexible work schedule for this year. Having studied in the USA and UK and worked with diverse international learners in Africa and Europe, I bring a global perspective and warm, multilingual approach. Each session is online through Zoom and uses Zoom's interactive whiteboard. Lessons are not didactic, but are tailored to individual learning styles, blending academic rigor with empathy and adaptability. My background as a special needs teacher enables me to differentiate instruction and provide strategies that meet students where they are. I place strong emphasis on essay writing, data analysis, and exam techniques, ensuring that students not only understand the content but also know how to apply it effectively.

With over three years of tutoring and 9 years teaching experience, I have supported students in 2nd, 3rd, 6th, and 7th–13th grade in a broad range of Biology/Environmental studies and English topics through one-to-one instruction. I have also prepared and delivered lectures in classroom environments at undergraduate and MSc level, as well as supervised thesis work. I offer personalized Biology/Ecology tutoring for students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. I can help with homework, exam preparation, and revision of class material, always adapting lessons to the student’s individual needs and learning style. I also have experience supporting exam preparation in Environmental Systems and Societies, Ecology, and Biology. Classes are available online or in person in Leipzig and the surrounding area.
