Economics & Business Administration — Clear, Structured & Exam-Focused Tutoring by UvA StudentTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Struggling with Economics, Business Studies or university-level courses? I help students not only pass exams, but actually understand what they are doing — step by step, without stress. I am a Business Administration student at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) with a strong academic background in Economics, Finance and International Business, gained across top European universities. I completed my first year of International Business Administration in Vienna (German-taught), studied Economics & Entrepreneurship at Bocconi University, and Brand Strategy at the London School of Economics (LSE). This allows me to explain complex concepts clearly and from multiple perspectives. In my lessons, I help with: Microeconomics & Macroeconomics (university level) Business Administration & Management Exam preparation and problem-solving Understanding lecture slides, assignments and case studies Structuring essays, answers and exam logic Step-by-step explanations (not just “the answer”) My teaching style: ✔ Clear, structured explanations ✔ Focus on why things work, not memorization ✔ Adapted to your course, university and exam format ✔ Calm, supportive, but result-oriented I work especially well with: University & Bachelor students International students studying in English or German Students who feel “lost” in lectures and need clarity Students preparing for exams under time pressure Languages of instruction: English, Ukrainian, Russian.

Microeconomics and Macroeconomics with practical casesTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Microeconomics: This course revolves around these notions: - CONSUMER CHOICE THEORY: marginal utility, indifference curve - THE CONSUMER'S BALANCE: budget constraint - THE THEORY OF DEMAND: substitution and income effect, elasticity My courses are aimed at students from business and management schools who have difficulty in the following subjects: - Microeconomics - Macroeconomics - Statistics - Probabilities - Financial analysis - Accounting - Taxation Macroeconomics: The objective of the course is to present the fundamental concepts of macroeconomics in order to lay the foundations for understanding economic phenomena on the one hand, and on the other hand helping to make a judgment in order to evaluate economic policy recommendations. In summary, the macroeconomist pursues four major objectives: 1. the determination of the aggregates making it possible to explain the behavior of the groups of agent: it is the object of the macroeconomic accounting; 2. the study of the relationships between these variables in order to determine the existence of stable relationships over time: this is the subject of macroeconomic laws; 3. analysis of the main imbalances that may appear between the aggregates: price increase, unemployment, deficit in public finances, deficit in the trade balance with foreign countries: this is the subject of macroeconomic modelling; 4. the study of the means to correct these imbalances and to achieve certain set goals (price stability, full employment, external balance, etc.): this is the object of economic policy. Nick's approach is patient and thorough, informative and imaginative as well. He always comes up with his own examples in order to test my knowledge on a given exercise and helps me get to the answer at my own pace, rather than handing it to me. He doesn't use a one-size-fits-all method, but rather tailors his lesson in order to get out my full potential, even in a field I find difficult. He makes himself available for additional questions and is overall great to work with!

Very professional overall. Great explanations both in English and Spanish. Explains everything clearly, goes above and beyond the textbook/material provided by the institution, and makes sure that everything is understood. Also very punctual and well-organized.

I enjoyed my classes with Shenelle. She was able to provide answers and teach concepts in an easy-to-follow way. My math improved a lot thanks to her.
