With 20 years of drumming experience, I'd love to introduce you to the wonderful world of drums and percussion and teach you all the tricks of the trade.

Do you want to start playing the drums? I guide you step by step at your own pace, with no prior experience required. You’re also welcome if you already have some experience and want to strengthen your basics. With over 20 years of experience behind the drum kit and a solid musical education, I’m happy to help you further develop your drumming skills. My musical background is mainly in pop and rock, complemented by jazz and Latin influences. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong focus on technique, with great attention to detail, helping each student build a solid foundation. I have been giving private lessons for over a year to both adults and children. Lessons are fully tailored to your level and goals, with a strong focus on enjoyment and motivation. We can work on: • technique and control • specific rhythms and styles • reading sheet music • playing your favorite songs Lessons take place in the center of Leuven (with parking nearby at Sint-Jacobsplein), where you can play on a professional drum kit. I mainly teach drums to children who want to learn to play the drums. The youthful enthusiasm is worth its weight in gold. Of course I also teach adults. The lessons are tailor-made and adapted to what you want to achieve. Starting with basic techniques and rhythms, tips and tricks in combination with scores if desired. I have been playing drums for 35 years and studied jazz at higher school. I also have a lot of band and stage experience. The time and duration of the lessons can be tailored to your preference. Lessons of 30 minutes or 60 minutes determine the distance. The lessons are at the student's home.

If you are a beginner of advanced drummer or you need help with a song of your favourite band, i'm here to help you out! I teach drums to students of any level. Also every age (kids and adults) and in every style. In the classroom we have 2 drumsets available and a PA system to play along with music. You just need to bring earplugs. I myself studied at the School Of Arts in Ghent. I can also provide you lots of info about tuning, drumheads, and drumkits (acoustic and electronic)

Hey, I am Koné (23) a full time artist and musician. I am mainly a percussionist with a big focus on handpan (also known as hang, hang drum, pantam,...). I have been playing percussion for 17 years and through studying and practicing different instruments have been able to develop a great teaching method. I have been a student of several professionals: Kabecao, Nadishana, Malte Marten, David Kucherman, Rosie Bergonzi, Johan de Baedts, Eric Bosteels, Wouter van Tornhout, Patrick Dorcean, Dré Pallemaerts, Sattar Khan, Toni Vitacollona, Benny Bettane, Dan Mayo,... I would like to transfer the knowledge I have gained over these years to you! The lessons are suitable for all levels from beginner to advanced: I like to adapt to the student in question, so there is always material and exercises to complete the musical "circle" of skills. Provided I follow my master's diploma tuba (euphonium), master percussion as well as master trombone, I can teach different instruments. During the lessons there is the choice to implement solfège or to keep only the instrument technical. I work very constructively and I like to listen to the wishes / goals of the student.
