Hi, My name is Mar. I am professor of Croatian, Serbian and Macedonian language. I look forward to tutoring both complete beginners and students who wish to develop their conversational skills and discuss various aspects of Croatian culture or daily life. My main motto is: nothing can stop us in realisation of our goals except our own intentions.

I have always been very passionate about languages and language learning which has now brought me to the level of speaking 4 languages. I specialize in class preparation and possible test preparation for both English and Croatian. The focus is that the student learns whatever is necessary for his/her development.

To be able to speak few languages ease your way to travel, find friends and have fun. You will be able to communicate freely and to understand culture of to country you travel. You will learn how to ask questions, make jokes and communicate your way into the new places.

The everyday language should be conveyed in the foreground. Conversation with pronunciation exercises, grammar principles, writing, reading. With advanced language skills, simple articles, newspaper reports etc. are discussed, translated and discussed.

I give private lessons of the Chinese language, the English language and the Croatian language. In the private lessons of the Chinese language the emphasis is on the Chinese grammar, reading, writing, the Chinese characters, reading with comprehension, dictation, and general knowledge of the Chinese culture. I make the learning course material using the Chinese textbooks, Chinese reference books, Chinese and English dictionaries, and the Chinese and English books. In the private lessons of the English language and the Croatian language the focus is on the English and Croatian grammar, reading, writing, and dictation. I can provide material for homework for all three languages. The private lessons of these three languages are intended for those who want to learn them and obtain the basic knowledge of these three languages.

I teach Croatian language to adults via Skype. Lessons are prepared according to individual learners needs. With Croatian, I have experience in teaching Bosnian and I can teach Serbian. (Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian) Depending on the situation, there is a possibility of teaching online to a group of people.
