Hi, my name is Youssef.

I first picked up the guitar a couple of years ago, after i got inspired by guitar heroes like Clapton, Hendrix, Slash, Mayer.. I'm always on my journey because the learning never really stops. At the moment, i'm taking online lessons provided by the Berklee College of Music, and always looking to improve on the instrument.

These days, I really enjoy teaching guitar and helping other people experience the same creative joy that’s brought me so much pleasure over the years. Over the past year, I taught private lessons to students of all different skill levels in private, 1-on-1 sessions. And what I’ve learned over that year of teaching guitar is that in order to make consistent progress, you must have a well-crafted roadmap for both learning and practicing.

So with many weeks of work, I put together a program that is exactly that.

The program i made is inspired by the following 4 steps philosophy:
1. The right lesson at the right time .
2. With a clear outcome in mind .
3. Then apply it immediately, in a musical context .
4. And do it consistently until it sticks!

In just a matter of weeks you’ll develop a solid foundation in the core fundamentals of guitar, including:
Fretting, Strumming, Fingerpicking, Melody, Harmony ,Key meaning, Chords, Scales Timing, Improvisation, Riffs, Licks, Soloing, and more!

In our approach to the guitar we do not only insist on general theoretical knowledge or specific to the instrument itself, ..., we try to forge in the practitioner a whole cerebral-auditory, emotional and kinesthetic instrumentation articulated around the contact with the instrument, understanding then apprehension and finally restitution (each has its own way) classical, Spanish music and finally (at a relatively advanced level...Flamenco).

This course is designed to master the instrument in a professional manner;
Learning to play the piano is a real challenge. Regular practice and hard work not only increase your perseverance but also help you become more disciplined.
As you practice playing your favorite songs, the regions of your brain that are stimulated expand and become more active. In particular, the regions that are responsible for storing auditory information are significantly more developed in musicians than in non-musicians.

As a teacher, I will go over the basic techniques on how to play the piano, including correct posture, hand position, finger curvature, and wrist placement.

The aim of my piano lesson, one objective is to develop students to become independent musicians capable of: playing the piano well. understand music and make musical choices. enjoy music and learning.

Explore the oud as a musical instrument and learn about its history and importance in traditional music.
Learn the basic techniques of playing the oud, including maqams, combinations, orchestration, and ornamentation.
Develop your expressive and creative abilities by learning to play the oud and applying it in a variety of musical styles.

2. Learn to play the qanun:

Study the qanun as a traditional musical instrument and learn about its history and role in Arabic music.
