Fashion design can feel overwhelming when you are trying to build a portfolio, apply to university, improve your fashion projects or create your own collection. You may have strong ideas, but not know how to turn them into clear research, professional drawings, a commercial range or work that looks ready for the fashion industry. I am an industry fashion designer with experience across womenswear, youthwear, jersey, leisurewear, casualwear, partywear, graphics, product development and commercial collection building. I currently work in supplier-side fashion design, developing trend-led product for major high-street retail. I have also worked across girlswear, boyswear, menswear, luxury swimwear and private luxury collection development for high-profile clients. In these lessons, I can help you understand how fashion design works in the real industry. We can work on portfolio development, university portfolio preparation, trend research, customer research, mood boards, colour palettes, fabric direction, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CADs, technical fashion drawings, range building, tech packs and final presentation. I can also help you build your own commercial fashion design collection from concept to final outcome. This includes understanding your target customer, developing a strong design direction, creating a balanced range, refining silhouettes, choosing colours and fabrics, and presenting your work in a way that feels polished, current and professional. My main specialism is womenswear and youth-market fashion, especially trend-led product for teenage to young adult customers. I can also support projects across girlswear, boyswear, menswear and swimwear, helping you understand how design changes depending on age range, customer, fit, fabric, price point and brand direction. My teaching style is friendly, practical and honest. We will look at your current level, your goals and what your work needs in order to improve. The aim is to help you gain confidence, develop stronger ideas and create fashion work that feels ready for university, internships, placements, graduate roles or your own brand.

Do you want to save time, improve your lessons, and explain complex scientific concepts more clearly using AI tools like ChatGPT? This course is designed for chemistry and science teachers who want to use AI in a practical, structured, and pedagogically meaningful way — without needing any technical background. I am a chemist and currently studying for a teaching diploma for upper secondary and vocational education at the University of Bern. I also teach chemistry in German to students from Swiss, German, and Austrian school and university systems, and I have experience applying modern teaching methods in real classrooms. In this course, I will show you how to use AI tools effectively to support your teaching — not replace it. We will focus on practical applications such as: • Creating structured lesson plans in minutes • Generating worksheets, exercises, and exam-style questions • Explaining complex concepts (e.g. bonding, equilibrium, thermodynamics) in simple and clear ways • Designing experiments and classroom activities • Differentiating content for mixed-ability classes • Creating summaries, visual explanations, and teaching materials In addition, I will introduce you to useful scientific resources and databases that can significantly improve your teaching and content preparation, including: • Finding molecular structures and chemical data • Accessing reliable information about compounds and reactions • Exploring protein structures and basic bioinformatics resources • Introduction to drug-related databases and real-world applications We will also briefly cover modern teaching approaches in an international context, including: • Understanding differences between school systems (e.g. Swiss, German, IB/international approach) • Structuring lessons in a clear and student-centered way • Selecting effective textbooks and practice materials • Recommendations based on real teaching experience This combination of AI tools, scientific resources, and modern pedagogy allows you to create more effective, structured, and engaging lessons. I use these tools and methods regularly in my own teaching and will guide you step by step, providing practical examples you can directly apply in your classroom. My goal is to help you teach more efficiently, reduce preparation time, and improve the quality of your lessons. All sessions are adapted to your subjects, level, and teaching context.

Graphic design is one of those skills that looks simple from the outside but has real depth to it. Whether you're starting from zero or already know your way around the basics, these lessons are designed to help you build a solid foundation and develop the kind of creative thinking that actually gets you somewhere in this field. I've been working as a graphic designer for 16 years, across branding studios, creative agencies, and product teams. I currently work as a Head of Graphic Design, and I've spent the last four years teaching and mentoring designers at all levels, including at Brainster Academy and Monday Academy. I bring that same industry-level perspective into every lesson. What we cover depends on where you are and where you want to go, but typically includes design principles, typography, layout and grids, color theory, composition, vector illustration, and design for both print and digital. We work with industry-standard tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, taught in a way that fits into a real professional workflow, not just isolated exercises. Every session is personalized. We work through real projects and practical tasks rather than just theory, so you're building skills you can actually use. You'll also get honest, constructive feedback throughout, the kind that helps you grow faster than going it alone. These lessons are open to complete beginners, self-taught designers looking to fill gaps, students, and working professionals who want to level up. If you're serious about graphic design, I'd love to work with you.
