Piano for all levels - develop confidence and inner singingTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Piano for all levels - develop confidence and inner singingTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I offer piano lessons for all levels. 7 years of teaching experience in conservatories, music schools and in business. I have a very good contact with children. I am demanding but gentle and very patient. I believe that one learns by listening, I am present to allow this listening to be at the center of the course and thus accompany the student on the path of music. I adapt to the need, the desire and the receptivity of each one. The well-being of the student is essential for progress in confidence and joy. The development of listening to the inner song is at the heart of my teaching. For beginners: songs, games, improvisation, creation. The links with song and rhythm are very important to have a healthy foundation. The musical notions are approached gradually by experience then by recognition. Reading and writing are brought about by creation and musical composition. For the more experienced, polyphony and difficult passages can be approached with different tools, by awareness of harmony and melodic modes and polyrhythm. Sometimes it is enough to be aware of simplicity to overcome difficult passages. I push to go further in the quality of the interpretation with simple means to better understand the music and thus allow more expressiveness and freedom. I also offer improvisation, harmony, lessons in musical ensembles, especially vocal polyphony for children, and lessons for specific needs, for example just intonation for singers or other instruments.

Master the Basics of Violin: Build Strong Foundations for Freedom in PlayingTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Master the Basics of Violin: Build Strong Foundations for Freedom in PlayingTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Professional lessons in London for beginners and intermediate players of all ages. Hi, I’m Eleazar, and I’m here to help you discover (or rediscover) the art of playing the violin. My course focuses on building strong foundational skills and mastering the basics, essential for anyone starting out or looking to solidify their technique. My goal is to help you build the strong technical foundations that lead to freedom and joy in playing the violin while keeping the learning process fun and engaging. Whether you’re a beginner or an intermediate player, my lessons are designed to guide you through mastering the basics so that you can ultimately play with confidence and ease. What makes my teaching unique? 🎻 A Fresh Perspective on Violin Technique I had the privilege of studying with world-renowned violinist Zakhar Bron, and at the age of 21, I had to completely rework my violin technique. Because I learned it later in life, I can break down the essentials and explain them in a way that’s easy to understand—something most violinists, who learned their technique as young children, often struggle to do. Together, we’ll build the foundations that will allow you to play freely, rather than feeling restricted by technique. 🌍 Multilingual Lessons I’m a native French speaker and fluent in both Spanish and English. You can choose the language you’re most comfortable with, so we can focus entirely on making progress with your playing. 📍 Flexible Lessons in London or Online I offer lessons in person here in London, but I’m also available online if that suits your schedule better. My goal is to make violin lessons accessible, convenient, and enjoyable for everyone. 🎯 Tailored for Beginners and Intermediate Students My lessons are specifically designed to help you build a solid technical foundation, develop your sound so you can truly play freely and express yourself. You’ll leave each session feeling accomplished and confident. Slogan: "Build your foundation. Play with freedom. Enjoy the music."

Fast progress piano lessons and competitions' preparation / RSL Awards Classical Piano certificationTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Welcome to my online Piano Class. I am Maria Papadatou, and I will happily help you achieve your musical goals, from zero to the top. I love all student levels, but only towards the classical piano, of any eras' works and composers. Don't be afraid, my lesson is human-friendly 😊 Everything goes step by step! Outside the lesson time, I send you short videos when needed, to support your practice through the week. As each student is different, I focus on each ones' needs and I am always creative in helping you learn through the simplest ways - "if it's easy, it's correct", that's my motto! My greatest happiness is to watch my students grow, overcome any limit and expand in full potential! As a result, many of my students have won top prizes at major international competitions, as the IBLA Grand Prize, the Spoleto International Piano Competition, the Bach au Jazz (Lilia Boyadjieva) International Piano Competition and many others. And also, at renown online competitions, as The Royal, the IYMC, the Forte Academy, and many-many others. As a Certified teacher on the official RSL Awards Teacher Registry (MusicTeacher.com), I can now offer the RSL Classical Piano programme - a well-established international piano qualification, equivalent in level to ABRSM but with more flexibility. So, in case you need a competition or exam preparation, here you are at the right place! I will help you discover the advanced piano technique, and the ways to achieve your best musical interpretation. Also, I'll help you understand and approach each composers' unique style, and secure your concert / stage presence, with simple and effective solutions for memorisation and control. I am a very proud piano teacher too, as, except all other distinctions, on Jan 11 2026 four young students of mine were awarded and invited to performed at the winners Gala at the Carnegie Hall in New York City! They also participated to the Juilliard School festival, with masterclass and lessons, a fabulous chance and experience that I wish all young pianists could have! I wish I can always bring such great opportunities and successes to all of my "piano kids"!

Cello Lessons with a Conservatorium van Amsterdam Graduate — All Levels, AmsterdamTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Cello Lessons with a Conservatorium van Amsterdam Graduate — All Levels, AmsterdamTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I teach cello to students of all ages and levels: from complete beginners to those preparing for conservatory auditions. My goal is to build your technique and musicality together, step by step, so that you're always challenged but never overwhelmed. A typical lesson works on a mix of technique (posture, bow control, tone production), repertoire suited to your level and taste, and — if you want it — music theory and sight-reading. I'll set clear short-term goals with you each lesson and check in regularly on your progress, so you always know what you're working toward and why. I have experience teaching students with dyslexia and ADHD, and I adjust my pacing and explanations so lessons stay clear and comfortable rather than stressful. If you're an absolute beginner, don't worry — I've taught people who've never held a cello before, and we start exactly where you are. A bit about my background: I hold a Master of Music from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where I studied under Ella van Poucke, and I graduated cum laude from the Conservatory and University of Thessaloniki. With my quartet, I won First Prize and the Young Jury Prize at the Storioni Festival Competition 2026, and I've performed at venues including Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, and Muziekgebouw Eindhoven. Lessons can be in English, Dutch, German, or Greek, in Amsterdam or online. Get in touch and tell me a bit about your goals — I'll tailor our first lesson around them. If you’re interested, feel free to contact me with any questions.

After 4-5 months of learning piano with Maria, I owe her big gratitude. I decided to learn piano as an adult and Maria helped me to overcome my insecurities in music and motivated me to keep trying and practicing. She truly cares about the whole learning experience and uses amazing methods to guide me not only in improving my playing skills, but also my musicality. The piano classes with Maria are always inspiring and challenging, but not overwhelming. In each class, she corrects the techniques and accommodates exercises for practice accordingly. I am really satisfied with her dedication and feedback. I cannot recommend Maria highly enough. In her teaching, she uses the right dose of professionalism, friendliness, patience, and understanding. Her enthusiasm for the music is so contagious. Her lovely and passionate nature and energetic vibes simply make the class an enjoyable learning experience. I cannot wait for the next piano class with Maria. :)
