Which chapters are you comfortable with? Which ones are you not on? How is contact with the professor in question? Do you have a scheduled test or checkup? This discussion will be a starting point for the next sessions. We may first need to stay very close to the course to improve understanding with simple exercises. If you are comfortable we will work on more complicated statements and try to cultivate a certain autonomy. - Identify areas for improvement - Often, you are willing and persistent and you cannot get your notes off the ground. It's discouraging. However, spending more time on your course will not make you successful. No. You have to spot the small grains of sand that block your progress.
