Inspiring and enthusiastic chemistry and maths tutor with 8 years of experience.Translate this text using Google Translate.

have graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Edinburgh, UK. I am also an Erasmus Mundus scholar with a master's in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in physical chemistry. I have been tutoring since 2012 to fund my education expenses. I formally began tutoring in 2014 as part of my vocational training as a teacher in Ghana, funded by the University of Edinburgh. The formal training has taught me a lot about curriculum development, time management, and fusing my teaching methodology to my students’ needs. I have been tutoring in Physics, Chemistry, and Math, in person and online; the hybrid model has allowed me to reach out and teach students in 8 different countries. I have successful students from these past nine years who have not only commended my work ethic but can also stand testament to my enthusiasm. My excellent academic career has nurtured in me a natural talent for teaching. My experiences have taught me how to tackle one problem at a time, and I believe that using this approach—paired with my unconventional examples that force students to think outside the box—I can truly provide an excellent understanding and explanation. My teaching methodology is based on two main things: skill development and adaptation. Initially, I create a skeleton of the most suitable methodology tailored to the preferred curriculum, after which, I adapt that lecture to the specific needs of the student based on their knowledge and grasp of the concepts. Second, I like to develop analytical and scientific ability along with knowledge in my students, and for that, I use a combination of resources in the form of worksheets, class tasks, and past papers. Last, I believe in the strong ethic of providing feedback to the parents, so that they are aware of their child’s progress. Frequently Asked Questions: Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach math, mechanics, statistics, chemistry and physics. I also teach biology up to GCSE level. When are you available? My timetable is quite flexible. I am happy to work weekdays, week evening and weekends. Which ages and levels do you teach? The majority of my students are between the ages of 10-18, but I also teach college Students. I am also helping foundation and first year university students. Which qualifications do you prepare your students for? GCSE, o-level, A/S-level, A-level, IB, School entrance exams and SATs Describe your arrangements for online tutoring? I use Zoom online sessions since it has many tools and features specially designed for interactive and visual learning. I am fully equipped with modern gadgets for e-learning. I use Google drive and docs to share files.

Maths - Physics - Chemistry (Secondary, European Schools, and IB)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Welcome to my profile. I am an experienced mathematics and science teacher with over seven years of experience helping students strengthen their understanding, improve their results and become more confident, independent learners. My lessons are designed for students and families who value high-quality, well-prepared and personalised teaching. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all course, I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, objectives, school programme and learning style. I teach students who need to rebuild essential foundations as well as those working on advanced topics, examinations or demanding international programmes such as the European Baccalaureate and International Baccalaureate, as well as, the various Belgian programs. ◆ MY TEACHING APPROACH ◆ • • Initial assessment • • We begin by identifying the student’s current level, strengths, difficulties and academic objectives. • • Personalised lesson planning • • Each student receives a structured learning approach based on their specific needs, curriculum and pace of progress. • • Clear and accessible explanations • • Complex concepts are broken down into logical, manageable steps, with visual representations and carefully selected examples. • • Active problem-solving • • Students are encouraged to think, explain their reasoning and develop reliable methods for approaching unfamiliar questions. • • Targeted practice • • Exercises are selected to address specific weaknesses, consolidate knowledge and prepare effectively for tests and examinations. • • Regular review and feedback • • Previously studied material is revisited when necessary, and clear feedback is provided to help the student understand what has improved and what still requires attention. ◆ WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ◆ Professionalism and reliability are central to my work: • • Lessons prepared in advance and tailored to the student • • Punctual and well-structured sessions • • Patient, respectful and focused teaching • • Clear explanations without unnecessary complication • • Constructive and timely feedback • • Adaptation based on the student’s progress • • A serious learning environment that remains supportive and encouraging My objective is not simply to help students complete exercises. I aim to help them understand the underlying concepts, develop stronger reasoning skills and gain the confidence required to work more independently. Mathematics and science can appear difficult when important foundations are missing or when explanations are poorly adapted to the learner. With the right structure, guidance and practice, these subjects become far more logical, accessible and rewarding.

Miss Constanza was a true lifesaver for me during a challenging time in my academic journey. As a new student in a different country with a completely unfamiliar education system, I found myself a month behind in the term and struggling in both Chemistry and Math. The first semester was a struggle, but thanks to her dedicated help, I not only caught up but also excelled. One of the things that sets Ms. Constanza apart is her ability to make every lesson enjoyable. Learning with her is never dull, and she effortlessly weaves engaging stories from her own experiences in the chemistry lab, connecting complex topics to real-life situations. Her adaptability is truly impressive. Right from the first lesson, she takes the time to understand your preferred learning style. Whether it's through visual aids, PowerPoint presentations, or traditional book-based learning, she tailors her teaching to your needs. She is also incredibly organized, and after each lesson, she ensures you apply what you've learned through exercises and practical applications. Her support and understanding create a comfortable learning environment, making it easier to grasp challenging concepts. Additionally, her knowledge of the subjects is extensive, and her dedication to her students' success is remarkable. Miss Constanza went above and beyond, helping me not only pass my Year 10 IGCSEs in Chemistry and Math but also instilling in me a deep understanding of these subjects. Her kindness, care, and unwavering support were invaluable throughout our lessons. She was always willing to go the extra mile, even dedicating her weekend evenings to help me review a topic. I am extremely grateful to have had Miss Constanza as my tutor for Chemistry and Math. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I genuinely look forward to having lessons with her again this year. If you've ever struggled with Math or Chemistry, Ms. Constanza can absolutely transform your perspective on the subject and help you excel.

Mathematics has always been a struggle for me, dating back to my childhood, and the challenges only intensified as I reached Year 11. Last summer, I found myself in a situation where I had to take a reset exam due to failing the year in Mathematics. This is where Ms. Yousra entered my life, and I couldn't be more grateful for it. I can honestly say that Miss Yousra is an exceptional teacher. Her patience and understanding with her students are commendable and she strikes a balance between formality and kindness, creating a nurturing atmosphere where you always feel supported. No matter the circumstances, I knew she was there for me through thick and thin. Additionally, Ms. Yousra's organizational skills and her profound knowledge of Mathematics make her an outstanding tutor. She ensures that you grasp each topic completely before moving on, providing homework after every lesson, which proved to be immensely helpful for me. Her meticulous planning and session calendars demonstrate her commitment to being well-prepared for every class. In just three weeks, Miss Yousra helped me prepare for my Math Resit Exam, which covered everything from my entire Year 10 IGCSE Mathematics curriculum. Thanks to her, my grades improved from a mere 20% to a 70%—she didn’t just help me catch up, but also excel. Her teaching is nothing short of magical, and I'm incredibly appreciative to have had her as my tutor. I eagerly look forward to having lessons with her again this year. If you've ever struggled with Math, Miss Yousra can absolutely transform your perspective on the subject and help you excel. She is, without a doubt, amazing.

Narayan is a really good teacher. I urgently needed someone to teach me physics for two different medical school entrance exams. He was able to do it very fast and well. Every lesson started with him explaining a specific concept, and then he gave me practice questions to ensure that I was confident in solving them. Additionally, after every lesson, he shared his notes with me to study from them later on. I truly feel confident and prepared for my exams. Thank you so much!!
