My teaching experience: private cello teacher, cello teacher within the French organization Orchester à l'Ecole, whose objective is to allow easier accessibility to classical music for children who are far from it, piano teacher , music theory teacher. Depending on the level of the student, I put in place an adapted work program, which combines non-exhaustively: 1/ learning the necessary bases in music theory in order to be able to read music, to be comfortable with a score 2/ of course, cello practice, one step after the other! 3/ initiation to improvisation 4/ initiation to singing. My primary objective is to allow my students to be comfortable with a score, but also to be comfortable without it. My daughter had a few knowledge gaps for her last year of solfege at the academie (i.e. advanced solfege) so we seek help from Ana Maria. In one intensive session she was able to explain all that was needed and get my daughter back in track.
