First of all, congratulations on getting this far: finding the right teacher is not easy, but the hardest part is behind you. My method is innovative and differs from the classic French system (obsolete and archaic): The student learns to become independent and autonomous by integrating technical principles applicable to different scenarios, somewhat according to the philosophy of Asian martial arts (but rest assured, nothing martial here, everything is done flexibly). My lessons are fun, and are aimed at beginners as well as experienced ones. The first step consists of first validating a few quick theoretical and technical bases. This is a crucial step to progress quickly and efficiently: what is a grade? A deal ? An arpeggio? A range ? How to hold a pick? In what position to play? Once the basics have been acquired, the student can learn pieces of their choice or work on particular playing techniques (picking, alternate picking, tapping, etc.) always in accordance with their needs, and above all their desires! Obviously the content is adapted to each person, the same goes for the style: Rock, Blues, Pop, Variety, Reggae, Metal... the possibilities are endless. For those who wish to risk it, the theme of improvisation is also on the program: Contrary to popular belief, this discipline is not reserved for the elite or the experienced, everyone is capable of it with a little training and an appropriate method. Music is an artistic field, everyone can see a future in it as long as the motivation is there!

I teach guitar lessons, bass, writing, arrangement and MAO for all levels in Toulouse, in the Saint-Michel district. My strong point: the courses for beginners. I suggest you learn to play your instrument and especially to learn music. The courses are individual and personalized. You work on the pieces you want to play. I build the educational path based on these pieces, your expectations and your level (beginner to professional). I focus on music, language, expression, interpretation, perception of rhythm and sounds. Music is a living language. You did not learn your native language by reading a dictionary or grammar treatise. You have acquired your language by practicing, listening, imitating. Music theory is the equivalent of writing and will only be used if you really need it or want it. The music theory and the theoretical notions will be introduced as the pieces you play contain them. Thus, you can better understand their origin and especially the usefulness they can have for you. Do not hesitate to contact me if you want more information.

The objective of my lessons is above all to make you have a good time: learn while having fun, while practicing the instrument and acquiring the keys to play the pieces you have always dreamed of. You'll progress at your own pace, with an approach that combines the joy of playing with musical understanding. Together, we'll put words and concepts behind the notes to build a solid theoretical foundation. The balance between practice and theory will help you develop your personal style and find your own sound.
