In my ballet classes, we blend both classical and contemporary styles. If you're just starting out, we’ll cover the basics and build up from there. We’ll talk about how understanding alignment and flow is key to ballet technique, and I’ll help you get comfortable with the basic ballet terms. For more experienced dancers, we’ll meet you where you're at and work from there. We’ll focus on fine-tuning your technique and adding performance qualities to your practice. In all my classes, I make sure we go at a pace that feels right for you, with the goal of helping you grow and enjoy dance for the long haul.

I offer professional ballet lessons of the Waganova technique for children to adults in an online class (individually or in a group) or at home on request. My name is Laura and I have completed a 9 year ballet training and a bachelor's degree in stage dance. I'm currently doing my master's degree in dance pedagogy in Dresden. I have been teaching ballet for children from 3 years old to adults for 6 years. I make the children's dance very playful, but also with a certain technique. I also start dance choreographies at an early age so that the children learn a sense of coordination right away. Upon request, I also prepare children for exams at elite ballet schools so that they can realize their dream of being a dancer. For teenagers and adults, I arrange the classes with a preparation on the floor, which consists of a stretching and workout for a better and easier training on the barre and in the middle. The main focus for me is on the correct execution of the exercises, as doing them incorrectly can affect your health. Having practiced at the top for years, I also offer professional top dance. At the moment I mainly teach online, but also at home if you wish. The great thing about online classes is that you can practice them from anywhere. I look forward to your inquiries!

I also offer coaching in classical variations and contemporary pieces, with detailed guidance and a focus on expression and presence. Group classes are a warm and open space where we explore not just technique, but the joy of dancing and being in your body. Through movement, we reconnect with ourselves and open new possibilities. Therefore during our work we will focus on the correct technique of movement and its style, so you will learn not only how to do elements correctly but also will understand how to make your dance look beautiful and catching for audience. The classes are aimed at the assimilation of technical elements with a biomechanical approach, focusing on the development of appropriate mechanics based on muscle chains and joint release. Knowledge of the objectives of the class sequences with a methodology broken down into the steps, theoretical and practical, will allow a more conscious execution in the long term, preventing short-term injuries. The importance of identifying body strengths and weaknesses individually, to program an exercise plan and overcome technical challenges in the development of a ballet class. Coordination, agility, resistance, stability, flexibility and proprioception will be objectives within reach during classes!
