I am inspired by cross-cultural life and learning experience here and focusing on cross-cultural education of art and language. Chinese is a language, but also a sign back to the ancient. In my class, I will introduce to you the roots of the Chinese characters and also the art and culture related, for example, the original meaning of the character signs, the basic way of writing, the relationship between the characters and the traditional paper cutting crafts... Each class you will get to learn about 20 characters under a theme. You will get inspired by these pictograms created thousands of years ago.
