Originally, I am an art teacher from China and got a Master's degree in Finland. I am inspired by cross-cultural life and learning experience here and focusing on cross-cultural education of art and language.
Chinese is a language, but also a sign back to the ancient. In my class, I will introduce to you the roots of the Chinese characters and also the art and culture related, for example, the original meaning of the character signs, the basic way of writing, the relationship between the characters and the traditional paper cutting crafts...
Each class you will get to learn about 20 characters under a theme. You will get inspired by these pictograms created thousands of years ago. Of course, your interests will be the first and most important priority.
It can be an art and creativity dialogue about text and image, rather than a language class because I believe that language is invented for emotion, expression, and communication! Hope to see you!
