***ENGLISH BELOW*** Hello! My name is Sanne (25) and I have a Master's degree in Biochemistry. Starting in September, I will begin obtaining my first-degree teaching qualification in Biology. Besides my passion for laboratory research, I enjoy supporting students with the subject matter and sharing my enthusiasm for the subject. I have already helped more than 20 students with biology, chemistry, and mathematics. I offer tutoring in mathematics (Mathematics A, B, and C). During the tutoring sessions, we actively work together on assignments, and I help you gain insight into the underlying concepts so that you can eventually tackle problems independently. Making mistakes is, of course, allowed; that is often where you learn the most. Additionally, it is important that you practice independently between lessons. For the lessons, you will need your own (sometimes graphing) calculator. I offer support with: - Clearing backlogs - Specific chapters or topics that are difficult - Preparation for school exams and central exams (vmbo, havo and vwo) - VAVO, state examination, and CCVX tracks Tutoring in pairs or small groups (for example, with classmates) is possible at a lower rate per person. Feel free to contact us for more information! Home tutoring is available. For this, I charge a travel allowance of €1 per kilometer per session (excluding Apprentus surcharges). Please contact me before booking to discuss the options and additional costs. ***ENGLISH*** Hello! My name is Sanne (25), and I hold a Master's degree in Biochemistry. Mathematics: Calculus, Algebra, Abstract Algebra, Geometry, Analysis, Probability and StatisticsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello, I am a mathematics masters student specializing in algebra, geometry and number theory. I have graduated from the university of Groningen with a bachelor in mathematics. As such, I've spent a great deal of time studying mathematics at a higher level and have become acquainted with a broad range of mathematical disciplines such as algebra, geometry, analysis, calculus, probability, optimization and more, this of-course includes any high school mathematics. During my studies I working as a teaching assistant whenever possible so I have some experience teaching. In mathematics there are often many ways to come to the same conclusion and it varies from person to person what they consider easiest to understand. As such I try to get to know the student first and figure out how they may learn best. Personally, I rely a lot on intuition and deep understanding of concepts and so i try to convey to students the most essential and fundamental ideas before moving on, as well as, giving them interpretations of what is happening so that they may becomes easier to imagine and more tangible. In solving any problem, I think it is important to first sit back and understand what is going on before embarking on any calculation or proofs. In a typical class I would first survey what the student already knows and discuss the concepts with them making sure they understand them very well then we would move on to discussing examples and non-examples (this would take most of the class). Finally we would solve problems together discussing them as we go along. This of course can vary from student to student, their level and time available.

Math, Physics and Science tutoring for children and teenagers: IB MYP, IGCSE, and GCSE.Translate this text using Google Translate.

I am Mavi, a physics engineer working at an aerospace company. I have been teaching private lessons at the primary, secondary, high school, and university preparatory levels for 11 years. I teach mathematics, physics, chemistry, and science. I have a good command of the curricula of IB, IGCSE, American, Hong Kong, and international schools. Additionally, I hold the position of president at the Astronomy Society, where I foster my students' interest in astronomy and science beyond the lessons. I prepare the learning environment by incorporating experiments and exploration, moving away from rote education. I often bring experimental materials to class, aiming to make learning memorable through hands-on experiments. As an educational mentor, I approach my students as if they were my siblings, valuing creativity. I have a deep passion for mathematics, physics, and science. I am dedicated to helping students understand and learn because life encompasses both SCIENCE and ART. The more people I can inspire to know, understand, and love mathematics, physics, and chemistry, the more proud I am. Are you curious about how nature works? Let's explore together!

Baia was instrumental in helping my daughter prepare for the OMPT-F exam. From the very first lesson, she was organized, knowledgeable, and focused on the areas that mattered most for success on the test. What sets Baia apart is her ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple, structured way while building confidence at the same time. Her engineering background gives her a deep understanding of mathematics and allows her to explain not only how to solve problems, but also why the concepts work. She provided targeted practice materials, mock exams, and clear guidance on the key topics that carried the highest impact. Baia was always responsive to questions between lessons and consistently went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was fully prepared. Thanks to her support, my daughter developed a much stronger understanding of mathematics and a more positive attitude toward the subject. She now approaches challenging problems with far more confidence than before. I highly recommend Baia to anyone preparing for the OMPT exams, university mathematics, or looking for a patient, knowledgeable, and highly effective math tutor.
