I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Turkish Music at Manisa Celal Bayar University in Turkey, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Global Musics at Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam. I welcome students of all ages who would like to develop a healthy and effective singing technique. In my lessons, we work on using the voice in a healthy and efficient way, improving posture and body awareness, and developing better control and confidence while singing. I adapt my teaching approach to each student’s individual needs, level, and goals. For students who are interested in Traditional Turkish Music, I also introduce the musical characteristics and cultural background of this tradition. Turkish Music has unique features such as microtonal intervals and diverse rhythmic structures, and I aim to make these concepts accessible and enjoyable to learn. Depending on the student’s interests and needs, we can explore different vocal exercises, repertoire, musical concepts, and techniques during the lessons. While my main areas of expertise are singing and Traditional Turkish Music, I am also open to working with students in other related areas of music.
