With my varied conversation lessons, alternating with reading, listening and short tests, we playfully build on better pronunciation and understanding. The lessons are adapted to your needs and we can certainly work on specific goals. I have more than 40 years of experience with the English language, have lived in South West England for > 16 years and worked for many years in business in both the UK and the Netherlands. With a lot of hands-on experience with the language and internally improving the language use of international colleagues (Thailand, Philippines, Dutch, etc.), I now also have a TEFL/TESOL Teaching Certificate and have now focused on teaching. I also enjoy teaching and tutoring the Dutch language for non-native speakers (NT2), and I am happy to help you broaden your knowledge of not only the language but also Dutch customs and traditions. You can also come to me for CNAVT exams, which are Accredited Dutch language exams. You can start preparing now with lessons for an exam in November 2026 at A-2 or B-1 level.

Depending on your request, the class can focus on the improvement of your oral or written competencies. If you want to learn grammar or master your letter writing or comprehension skills, we will work on that. In case you want to maintain the level of your understanding and oral abilities, we will improve that. I have been teaching English for nearly 25 years. I teach exclusively online (via Teams). I am TEFL certified. I also have the TEFL - TBE (TEFL Certificate in Teaching Business English) and the TEFL - TEYL (TEFL Certificate in Teaching English to Young Learners) certificates. Hi there! I am a Vietnamese native (Hanoian), used to live in England for 2 years, and now in my 9th year living in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Tutoring Vietnamese is my passion and I dedicate myself to a great experience for the students. This class will introduce you to various aspects of the Vietnamese alphabet, grammar, and spelling. I will also provide speaking practice at the end of every class. This class is designed for those of you who are interested in the Vietnamese language, as well as Vietnamese culture. I followed several secondary-school pupils for several years in the learning of English and Spanish, with great outcomes.
