Learn Vietnamese with a native speaker from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. I teach Standard Northern Vietnamese, which is widely used as a standard form of spoken Vietnamese. My lessons are suitable for beginners who want to learn Vietnamese for travel, everyday communication, work, relationships, or simply to connect with Vietnamese culture. I can help you build a strong foundation in pronunciation, tones, vocabulary and everyday conversation. We can also focus on practical Vietnamese that you can actually use in real-life situations. The lessons can be adapted to your level, goals and interests. I am happy to explain Vietnamese in English and create a relaxed and friendly learning environment where you can practise without feeling afraid of making mistakes.

Are you interested in Vietnamese? Do you have Vietnamese family and want to learn the language to speak with your loved ones? Or are you simply curious? I offer Vietnamese lessons for all levels, and I also share insights into the country's culture. I speak Vietnamese (native speaker) and can teach in French or English (I have two years of experience).

I speak with a Northern accent. I have over 30 years of teaching experience within the pedagogy/education sector. Out of a deep love for the Vietnamese language, I have spent the last 8 years teaching Vietnamese to many different people: to children from 7 years old who are just learning the alphabet, to students, and to those who are already working. I also teach foreigners coming to Vietnam for tourism or work, and anyone who wants to learn about the country, the people, and the cuisine of Vietnam, no matter if you are a beginner or advanced learner. Aside from teaching the language, I can also help you learn about tourism, culture, and Vietnamese cuisine because I currently live in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. I can help you understand the distinct cultures across various regions—from the North, the Center, to the South. Come to my lessons. I will help you learn Vietnamese in the fastest and most effective way.
