Hi students, I am offering English classes for all ages - with the advantage of my partner speaking both Vietnamese and English fluently. Together we can cater for all levels. I am from the UK, England - and I am currently an English Teacher at the British University of Vietnam, in Hanoi, as well as teaching private classes. My wife is Vietnamese and speaks fluent English and has taught for many years. I studied at one of the best Universities in England, for a BA. In Philosophy, and Masters degree in English Literature. I have my teaching english as a foreign language (TEFL) qualification as well. I am very friendly and professional. I have been teaching for several years now: teaching English for 8years, and Classical Music for much longer. Out of those years I have spent several in Saigon, and now I am based in Hanoi. We offer all levels of English classes, for all ages of students. I specialise in teaching IELTS and academic English currently, and my partner teaches younger students predominantly. The benefit of my partner's teaching is that she speaks both Vietnamese and English - so we are very adaptable between us both, and can cater for all ages and needs. This includes practical exercises, targeted revisions and explanations adapted to each learning pace. - Progressive objectives: we set short and long term objectives together to motivate the student. - Learning techniques: I use interactive methods (online exercises, educational games) and revision sheets to help memorize and understand key concepts (flashcards, etc.) Type of sessions: - Course of the sessions: - Review of previous concepts: 10-15 minutes to review the points covered during the last lesson. - Lesson of the day: 30-45 minutes to present and explain a new concept. - Practical exercises: 20-30 minutes to apply what has been learned, offering exercises adapted to the student's level. - Questions and corrections: 10-15 minutes at the end to answer the student's questions and correct mistakes together. - Regular monitoring: I plan regular assessments to adjust the learning method and adapt the pace of the lessons.
