I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Major in Journalism, which has given me a strong foundation in the Filipino language, communication, writing, and public speaking. Although I do not currently hold formal teaching certifications, I have gained valuable teaching experience through different educational and training opportunities. Early in my career, I worked as a private tutor for kindergarten students, helping them learn the alphabet, basic reading, and early literacy skills. This experience taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting lessons to each learner's pace. In addition, I have been invited by various schools, government agencies, and educational institutions to serve as a speaker and trainer in journalism seminars and workshops. My area of expertise is Filipino Journalism, where I mentor and train young campus journalists in writing, language use, and communication skills. My teaching methodology focuses on creating interactive and learner-centered lessons. I use PowerPoint presentations, real-life examples, guided conversations, and practical exercises to make learning engaging and easy to understand. I believe that students learn best when they actively participate and feel comfortable asking questions.
