Music Therapy for Neurodiversity (Autism & ADHD)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Music Therapy for Neurodiversity (Autism & ADHD)Translate this text using Google Translate.

This in-person service provides specialized music therapy tailored specifically for neurodivergent individuals, focusing on Autism and ADHD. Recognizing that every person has a unique way of interacting with the world, these sessions are strictly individualized to meet the specific sensory, cognitive, and emotional needs of the participant. The Assessment & Planning Process: To ensure the highest quality of care, we begin with a dedicated evaluation phase. During the first four sessions, I work closely with the participant and their guardian to observe responses, identify strengths, and understand specific challenges. Based on these observations, we will collaboratively build a formal Treatment Plan. This plan serves as a roadmap for our journey together, establishing clear goals for: - Sensory Modulation: Using rhythm and frequency to help regulate the nervous system. - Executive Functioning: Utilizing musical structures to improve focus and impulse control for those with ADHD. - Social-Communication: Developing non-verbal and verbal expression through melodic and rhythmic dialogue. - Behavioral Harmony: Reducing anxiety and building confidence through successful musical interactions. By conducting these sessions in person, we ensure a tactile, high-engagement environment where the physical connection to instruments acts as a primary tool for development. ------------ This service offers in-person music therapy sessions specifically designed to support individuals with special needs, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Believing that each individual has a unique way of interacting, these sessions are delivered entirely individually to meet the specific sensory, cognitive, and emotional needs of each participant. The evaluation and plan development process: To ensure the best possible care, the journey begins with a thorough assessment phase. During the first four sessions, I will work closely with the participant and in direct coordination with the parent to monitor responses and identify key strengths and challenges. Based on these observations, together we will build an integrated treatment plan that will serve as a roadmap for our sessions, and through which we aim to achieve clear goals in the following areas: Sensory regulation: Using rhythm and sound frequencies to help regulate the nervous system. Executive functions: Employing musical construction to improve focus and impulse control (especially for those with ADHD). Social communication: Developing verbal and non-verbal expression skills through melodic and rhythmic dialogue. Behavioral balance: Reducing anxiety and building self-confidence through successful musical interactions. These sessions are held in person to ensure the highest levels of physical interaction with musical instruments, providing a tangible and effective educational and therapeutic environment.

Study skills with AI: organisation, focus and homework (ADHD & SEN)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Study skills with AI: organisation, focus and homework (ADHD & SEN)Translate this text using Google Translate.

1-to-1 classes for students who get stuck not so much because they “don’t understand”, but because they cannot start, organise, hold attention, or break a big assignment into steps. We use artificial intelligence as a scaffold — not to do the homework for them. Who it is for Secondary / high-school students (also last years of primary if they already work on a computer) with ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia or other SEN that affect organisation, focus or processing. It also fits if there is no formal diagnosis but the same pattern repeats at home: forgotten work, freezing in front of a blank page, assignments handed in at the last minute. What we practise in class • Breaking a topic or project into a realistic list • Asking AI for a summary or outline — then checking it against school materials • Turning a dense paragraph into a map, a visual guide or 5 practice questions • Building a weekly routine: what gets done today, what can wait, how long it should take • Clear rules: when AI helps and when it does not The student leaves the session with something they can use that same afternoon (a plan for an assignment, a guide to a topic, a 3-day calendar). What the family gets After several sessions, a small home kit: prompts they may use, tools that fit their age, and how to repeat the method without hovering the whole time. Pace 8–10 sessions, once a week, is usually what makes the habit stick. You can start with 3–4 and decide after that.
