Learn to become free in the world of music with and without a score. Train your ear while playing and learn to play the sax. In a lesson we learn, among other things making sound on the sax, playing by ear, reading music (playing and interpreting a score) and improvising.

As an experienced saxophonist I like to pass on my knowledge in an adapted, easy way. From the beginning, the focus is on what you want to learn to play yourself. If you do not yet have solfège knowledge, this will be learned while playing the saxophone. In terms of difficulty, I have experience with all levels of saxophonists ranging from young children to retirees who still want to fulfill their dream as a musician. With one it goes a little more smoothly than with the other, but on average you can easily play a first song in less than a month. Lessons can be scheduled very flexibly. Would you like a lesson every week, or perhaps a monthly refresher? That's possible! We'll coordinate our schedules. Would you prefer a half-hour, 45-minute, or an hour-long lesson? That's also possible. I also have an extensive music library available for you to use. Your own books, works, CDs, or suggestions are also welcome! Location: at my home after work hours/weekends. Melle area, easily accessible by car, bus, or train (Kwatrecht station).

Hello!!! I’m a saxophone teacher offering ONLINE and FACE-TO-FACE lessons in SAXOPHONE, MUSIC THEORY and HARMONY. I’ve been teaching ever since I began my higher education in Murcia, whether privately, at music schools or at conservatoires in Andalusia. As a result, I’ve been fortunate enough to meet a wide variety of people, which has made me reflect and realise that THERE IS NO ONE WHO ISN’T SUITABLE FOR MUSIC, because musicality is an intrinsic quality of human beings. They simply haven’t found the way to improve – the approach that works for them: the right methodology. So, every student has a different learning pace and different needs, but a common goal: TO ENJOY LEARNING, which is different from LEARNING WHILES ENJOYING IT. It doesn’t matter if you can’t read music, if you live far away (you can learn from scratch online), or if you’re a bit older; what matters is the desire to have fun. As a teacher, but also as a former pupil, I focus on fostering MOTIVATION. You learn faster without even realising it. That’s why I always try to focus on each pupil, their interests, their goals, and whether there’s a particular song they’d like to play... I also provide extra tuition in Music Theory for entrance exams to professional music courses and teach Harmony at all levels.

This course will adapt to your level of play: simple harmonies for beginners and more complex depending on the degree of mastery of the instrument. This course also includes a thorough introduction to harmony.
