About Me
I really enjoy teaching the flute and music.
I have a lot of experience with music and teaching, because I have dealt with music and especially with the flute all my life.
I want to work with anyone who wants to learn, regardless of age and level.
I consider patience to be one of my most important aspects.
Education
All my life I have given most of the effort to music.
I have graduated from the Greek Music High School and Lyceum.
After that I came to Zurich to continue my bachelor's degree.
Due to my interest in further developing my musical knowledge, I traveled a lot throughout Europe during my studies at high school and worked with many important people.
I am currently doing my bachelor's degree at the Zurich University of the Arts with Philippe Racine.

Orestis
Hello! My name is Orestis, I come from Cyprus and I am 27 years old. I am passionate about teaching, and one of the greatest joys of my professional career is watching my students flourish. I have been playing the piano for 20 years now and have over 7 years in teaching the piano. My goal is to make the piano lessons fun and enjoyable while also incorporating all the necessary elements, such as theory, music history and sight-reading, to create a well rounded musical education. I am experienced with exam preparations (ABRSM) and music school admissions exams, but I prefer to create my own curriculum to fit each student’s specific needs and aspirations.
I studied at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, UK (BA) and at the Liszt Academy of Music, HU (MA). I have performed extensively as a solo and chamber musician and I had the joy to collaborate with various orchestras. My greatest joy in music is collaborating and creating music together with other musicians, and this is why I am now pursuing the Specialized Piano Chamber Music Master’s at ZHdK.
