Ich bin Sarah, Berufsflötistin und Musikpädagogin, komme aus Kroatien und wohne in Zürich, Schweiz.

Ich sehe mich als aktiv, wach und offen für unterschiedliche Lernbedürfnisse und Wünsche der SchülerInnen. Mein Studium und meine Arbeit in verschiedenen Ländern und Musikbereichen haben eine grosse Toleranz und Offenheit im Umgang mit verschiedenen Menschen gefördert. Während eine warme, freundliche, aber auch ehrgeizige Arbeitsatmosphäre, ich bemühe mich stets den Unterricht an jede Person individuell anzupassen.

Musik ist für mich die beste Art, Emotionen auszudrücken.
Das ist auch mein Ziel, das ich meinen Schülern beim Musizieren während des Flötenunterrichts vermitteln möchte.

Während meiner Arbeit an der Kantonsschule, Musikschule, dem Konservatorium und im Blasmusikverein habe ich Erfahrungen im Einzel- und Gruppenunterricht sowie mit SchülerInnen unterschiedlichen Alters gesammelt.

Neben meiner pädagogischen Arbeit bin ich auch als Orchestermusikerin tätig. Ich spiele in verschiedenen Kammermusikensembles und Berufsorchestern wie Sinfonieorchester St. Gallen, Tonhalle Orchester Zürich, Philharmonie Zürich / Opernhaus Orchester, Sinfonieorchester Liechtenstein, City Light Symphony Orchestra, Zuger Sinfonietta, RTV Sinfonieorchester Slowenien, Orchester Oper und Ballett Ljubljana.

I am currently a student at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. I'm in my third bachelor's degree. I have been taking harp lessons for 13 years with various renowned teachers such as Eline Groslot and Annie Lavoisier. During this period I also gained a lot of experience as a concert harpist. Including the second prize in the Concours Français de la Harpe (2017). And for 3 years I also give private lessons in harp and solfège.

These lessons focus on both (young) children who want to learn harp and adults who want to start using harp. Each student is guided at his own pace and the lessons are adapted to the wishes of each student.
Note learning lessons are also adjusted as much as possible to the student's pace.

Keyboard Experience:
Children experience sound through the keyboard and are introduced to the fun of keyboard playing. Appropriate to this stage in their physical development, initial playing activities engage the use of large motor skills.

The most important thing for me is to create a pleasant and motivating atmosphere in which the focus is on making music. I am convinced that the best way to learn the flute is to play the music you enjoy playing. The lessons are based on making music together, giving you the tools to practice at home in a fun and efficient way.
The lessons can be in German, English or Spanish. We are happy to do a free interview to get to know each other and talk about your goals with the flute. You don't need any prior knowledge. I will do my best to adapt the lessons to your wishes and needs.

About me: I am currently doing a master's degree in music performance with Sarah Rumer at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Whether you are an adult or younger, did you know that with the proper methods, follow-up and advice, you can reach in 2 years the equivalent of what is achieved in 10 years in music school? The passion and pleasure of playing will quickly make you forget the minimum 1h30 of daily practice necessary for this beautiful and pleasant feat. This is the challenge I set myself by offering you these courses.

Practicing classical guitar for 27 years, graduated from the National Conservatory of Limoges, I teach guitar (beginner to advanced levels).

My method is distinguished by a perfect combination of high standards and attention paid to the pleasure of playing.

Passionate about music theory (rhythms, musical notations and other aspects that seem tedious to many), I know how to transmit this taste for musical technique.

The pleasure of play develops when you feel your progress, and these come with regular work. I therefore ask for attendance and regularity of at least 1 hour of practice per day. Depending on the students, the frequency of lessons can be bi-weekly or bi-monthly, and will be defined together, while remaining flexible.

I can also advise you on the purchase of a classical guitar.

Note: the practice of the classical guitar requires short nails on the left hand, and nails overflowing just beyond the tip of the finger, on the right hand, at all times. This allows an inimitable sound quality.

My name is Federica and I am a Pianist from Italy. I recently completed my Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy at the “Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana” with Prof. Alessandro D'Onofrio in Lugano. I completed my Bachelor degree at Conservatory “C. Pollini” in Padua achieving the honours with Prof. Massimo De Ascaniis and afterwards, in 2020, I obtained my soloist-concert Master in Piano with Prof. Riccardo Zadra at Conservatory “A. Pedrollo ” in Vicenza.
During my studies I also attended an annual advanced course in Piano at Music Academy in Sacile with Prof. Stefania Redaelli.
I have always been interested in chamber music and in 2016/2018 I attended a post Graduation Course in Chamber Music with prof. Giampaolo Pretto at “Scuola di Musica di Fiesole”.
