About Me

I have teaching experience with children, teenagers and adults (beginners and advanced). I like to accompany my students on the piano myself. What is of great importance to me is a very individual and innovative approach to each person, which challenges me as a teacher and overall personality. Teaching has always played an important role in my life: I consider it a great privilege to be able to pass on skills I have acquired myself and thereby encourage students to enjoy making music.

I am currently a student at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. I'm in my third bachelor's degree. I have been taking harp lessons for 13 years with various renowned teachers such as Eline Groslot and Annie Lavoisier. During this period I also gained a lot of experience as a concert harpist. Including the second prize in the Concours Français de la Harpe (2017). And for 3 years I also give private lessons in harp and solfège.

These lessons focus on both (young) children who want to learn harp and adults who want to start using harp. Each student is guided at his own pace and the lessons are adapted to the wishes of each student.

As well as instrumental teaching and ensemble coaching of at all levels over the last 12 years, I’ve led numerous professional workshops, including ‘Music First’ and ‘Music Masters’ workshops in London and was an assistant on the Primary Arpeggione viola course and at the Springgrove music competition.
