I am a Serbian born in Japan where I finished my primary school. After that my family moved to China and where I continued studying at Chinese middle school. I love to teach Chinese language and prepare possible students who wish to study in China or travel to China. I do have international experience and would like to connect more people with Chinese culture teaching language, art and music.

You can study with me online / Go-home lessons. Classes can be one-to-one or group classes.

I am here to teach you English. In my classes you will be able to learn grammar properly, to practise reading, and of course writing.
In my classes, we can do what you need for school, or we can go with our materials that we agree on.

The objective is to use real life situations or scenarios to learn conversational English using standard English as well as incorporating slang street English. Lessons will involve learning vocabulary and phrases needed in different social settings and using the environment as the classroom.

I tailor each lesson according to my student needs. I allow for the first 10 minutes to “steam off” in English/Spanish to express requests, needs, doubts and/or clarifications. Then everything is mandatory in Italian! The only exception made is for improving translation skills, upon request. My academic background allows me to trace the etymology of any given word and to easily spot false-firends, enabling a durable memorisation of new vocabulary.

Lessons usually focus on travelling, contemporary issues, specialised vocabulary of one’s own professional area, and practical vocabulary for daily life.

Examples of tasks:
- Preparing and sending an email to book an hotel room / rent a car
- Understanding and analysing brief videos/audios (i.e. Ted Talks, Podcasts) to post comments
- Explaining a recipe
- Summarising a tv show episode/play/book
- Analysing and translating news, crowdfunding campaigns, and essays.
