I am a 32 year old pianist and I offer private piano lessons in a friendly and fun environment for children from 6 years old and adults, at all levels, in English, French and Portuguese. I have a lot of teaching experience (private lessons and music school in France and Brazil), and in the lessons I work on the musical language studied and the required technique. In the theoretical side, I prepared many students for their entrance exam to university in Brazil. I graduated in Master and Postgraduate in piano at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel).

I teach in my residence (near metro Tomberg, in Woluwe Saint-Lambert), with a grand piano.

About Me

I am a 32-year-old pianist who graduated with a Master's in Piano at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel). I began studying the piano with my aunt, in Brazil. At the age of 19, I decided to abandon my university studies in Physics to become a professional musician and earned my bachelor's degree in Piano from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Afterward, I joined the Strasbourg Conservatory in France to study in the class of Amy Lin at the Specialization level. In 2016, I was admitted to the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of pianist Jan Michiels, where I received my Master's degree. I then continued another year of studying and obtained a Postgraduate diploma.
I have frequently given recitals and participated in music festivals in Europe and in Brazil.

Are you a beginner?? No worries: no experience is required! 😁
I can teach you the basics to produce sounds with your saxophone: position of the embouchure (teeth, tongue, lips and vocal cords' position, an element often forgotten), fingerings, use of diafragma,...
After the first two lessons spent on the mouthpiece and neck for the sound production, we will immediately start to play some super easy duos together to practice your capacity of listening, pay attention to the other, ear training as well. I normally use the book of Peter Wastall (titled Learn as you play) as support, but it is not mandatory. There are plenty of good books btw!

Are you an intermediate / advanced student?? I am sure you can still improve in all the basics, but on a different level. I'll teach you the importance of the "voicing" (technique named by the american saxophonist and pedagogue Donald Sinta) to improve your sound production and projection as well as the capacity of correcting and improving the intonation. You can learn all about phrasing and music interpretation, from tonal music until contemporary atonal compositions. And still, you can improve your playing together, practicing in duo on different aspects like tuning, balance, interpretation, performance etc.

My name is Juliette, a young professional violinist who obtained my master's degree at the Brussels Conservatory in 2018 in the class of Shirly Laub. With my experience, I offer violin and music theory lessons.
