I am a Goldsmiths BA Fine art second year. I do paintings and scultings mainly and sculptural paintings. I love to understand and feel the materials and use the materialities' characteristics and histories to symbolise meanings in my work. My class would be suitable for potential young childrens or teenagers who are interested in art or want to get into art. As art is the language for me, I would love my students to enjoy and show their creativity in my class and I would help them to develop and create actual works in real life. There would be no pressure in this class I have experice of tutoring 10year old child and he was enjoying every class. He had ADHD and showed ADHD behaviours during class but as a neurodivergent person I gave him a breaks during classes and talked about his interests so I could figure out what he is interested in so I could prepare next class for him and at the same time the kid could had his little refreshment from doing art work. And I had 1:1 meetings with their parents because they wanted to know how it went and how he was behaving so I gave her a lot of feedbacks from my perspective (I did let her know it is from my perspective) . My dream is to be an artist/ art professor(university tutor) as I also had mental health issues so I am aware of how to deal with people who should I take more care of and also as a neurodivergent person I could deal with neurodivergent students:) My curriculum would be very personalised by students. Lessons vary in length from 30-120 minutes depending on preference. Usually cover one or two topics per lesson to ensure a solid understanding. Ideally you should come into the lesson with an idea of topics you wish to review and preferably some questions you are currently working on. Questions can be provided. We will start by consolidating your knowledge on the topic with examples and then progress to supervised exam style questions or, if preferred, jump straight into some questions you are working on. The lessons are for all ages and can cover A-level, GCSE or anything below.

These lessons will be online. We will have a plan for what you want to work on specifically and we will work by me explaining whatever you struggle with and then do some practice questions together. Hello, I’m Sam. I’m currently an University student at Exeter University, studying Economics. I recently left KCS, Wimbledon with three A-Levels (Maths A*, Economics A*, Latin A). I’m keen to tutor students at A-Level or below in either Maths or GCSE or below in Latin. I achieved grade 9s in Maths, Further Maths and Latin at iGCSE. I have experienced tutoring students aged 8-16 over the last 4 years in Maths and Latin, both online and in person. I have further experience working with children having coached football, rugby and cricket for the last 4 years. I am a very flexible tutor, and am happy to teach whatever my student needs most that session, whether it be a homework or concept they don’t quite understand, or revision for an upcoming test. During sessions, I'd start be seeing where my tutee has been struggling or making mistakes, before walking through practice questions with them, to see how their current level of understanding translates into real, exam-style questions. I aim for my tutees to take the front seat during sessions, in order that they are doing all the critical thinking, in order to help them practise without my help. I may also set a few short homeworks to ensure my tutees are consolidating what they have learnt, and don't forget it all by the time our next session comes around!
