Hello hello, As an husband and a father of four children (14, 12, 9 and soon to be 2) I am used to adapt my mentoring according to the seasons of life of each of us. As I am passionate about education, I am always studying different ways to help people grow and I am also assisting differents schools in France and Africa. As a consultant in change management I am skillfull in most of the issues related to relations, communication, learning and self-confidence for kids, young people and also adults, in private and corporate environments. I have started to tutor people early during my ENGINEER studies (1994), first helping kids, then teenagers and assisting young adults. Because I am still thirsty of learning and teaching, today I am experiencing different beautiful challenges, part of them is coaching one U13 soccer team and one U15 basket ball team. So if you want to progress in french speaking or if you are struggling with communication or self-confidence issue, just try to meet and see what we can do together. Bests Regards,

Hei! I come from a beautiful fjord in Norway called Ryfylke and recently moved to Dreiländereck in Ötlingen, a village overlooking the vineyards. My teaching experience ranges from beginners to advanced. I am a dedicated, passionate teacher who loves to pass on my knowledge of music. I believe the essence of teaching is to encourage the artist within to focus on expression and experience the connection to oneself. Music for me is all about connecting to your own feelings and inner world, and finding a way to share this with other artists and listeners. I teach violin with the help of imagination as well as great methods. I focus on the joy of discipline and focus rather then being rigid. I guide you to discover yourself, your inner voice that constitutes the artist you are. Optional focus and guidance - I have experience in trauma healing and addressing blockages that hinder joyful playing. I encourage students to explore their true self as an artist. This approach not only facilitates learning an instrument and understanding music but also helps individuals find their unique voice in life, leading to immense joy! I teach both at home, your home if convenient, or on Lessonface. I speak English, and some German, and of course Norwegian<3

The many masterclasses I attended with internationally renowned teachers such as Tatiana Zelikman, Lilya Zilberstein and Ruben Dalibaltayan enriched my musical knowledge, which I'd now like to share with you! My passion for opera singing was born around the age of ten and has only grown with age, leading me to start my Bachelor's degree in opera singing at the Musik-Akademie Basel in 2021 in Marcel Boone's class. My name is Clara and I'm a cellist, teacher, and performer in Basel. I'm active in many different genres myself, which is why I can teach a wide variety of things on the cello :) It's important to me to create a learning atmosphere where both student and teacher feel comfortable. Student and teacher should meet as equals, as learning is most effective in a trusting environment. Where do I come from musically? It has always been important to me to explore all the possibilities my instrument offers. And to be honest, I'm not finished yet; the cello has so many facets to discover! I've already tried many different styles. I completed my Master's degree in Contemporary Music at the Basel Academy of Music in 2025. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Artistic Pedagogy in Freiburg. This gives me a solid foundation for teaching the instrument in a playful way and for unlocking the creativity of my students. Can you also find me on stage? Yes, mostly with my jazzy indie-pop band "Partiprivati". We write our own songs and I'm usually responsible for a good bassline :) But also with Percaso String Quartet, with whom we only play string quartet works by women. Or in Ensemble IPSO, a music theater project in which we try to blend the boundaries between music, theater and dance. And always with solo performances at vernissages. I have a solidarity pricing system, if it concerns you, feel free to write :) Lessons at the student’s home and preferably in Riehen.
