I've been a Chemistry and Science teacher (in Secondary and FE) for 20 years and I am proud of the fact that I've been able to help the majority of my students face Science (and mainly Chemistry) as a fun and somewhat easy subject. I build a very good rapport with my learners and I've been able to keep in touch with many of them over the years and been fortunate enough to see them grow as professionals but, more importantly, as outstanding human beings. Being a tutor will allow me to carry on contributing to the success of my students in both their every day and professional lives.
When tutoring, I adapt my strategies and methods to my students and their requirements and I will always strive to provide the best experience - an initial conversation will be had in order to assess their needs and aims /outcomes and also to determine whether we'll be a good match.

I can teach you Portuguese and turn you into a fluent speaker of the language. The goal is to make anyone fluent, doesn't matter if are in the level A1 or C1. I can improve your writing, speaking and listening skills in both Brazilian Portuguese and the Portuguese from Portugal.
All the classes will be very accessible and I'll make sure you're understanding before moving to the next subject.
I'll also create some tests so we can evaluate your skills and check for your improvement.
Don't worry if you don't know Portuguese, I'm very patient and will work hard on you to make sure you can learn this Latin language. After you learn Portuguese you can easily learn Spanish. All the other Latin languages are also very accessible once you know Portuguese, including French and Italian.

This class will break down concepts that students find hard to understand. Questions will be tackled and past paper questions will be answered. Students will always have an aim for every lesson and a set of practice questions to take home and practice independently. Adequate resources and materials will be provided to aid students learning and understanding.

I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Liverpool studying for a degree in human physiology. I specialize in biology tutoring. However, I am also available for chemistry and maths both of which I achieved a B in at A level and an A* at GCSE. My aim is to keep students engaged and interested by providing challenging work which isn't overwhelming. I will provide regular feedback reports which will include the student's main strengths and areas to work on.
