I've been a Chemistry and Science teacher (in Secondary and FE) for 20 years and I am proud of the fact that I've been able to help the majority of my students face Science (and mainly Chemistry) as a fun and somewhat easy subject. I build a very good rapport with my learners and I've been able to keep in touch with many of them over the years and been fortunate enough to see them grow as professionals but, more importantly, as outstanding human beings. Students will always have an aim for every lesson and a set of practice questions to take home and practice independently. Adequate resources and materials will be provided to aid students learning and understanding.

I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Liverpool studying for a degree in human physiology. I specialize in biology tutoring. However, I am also available for chemistry and maths both of which I achieved a B in at A level and an A* at GCSE. My aim is to keep students engaged and interested by providing challenging work which isn't overwhelming. I will provide regular feedback reports which will include the student's main strengths and areas to work on.

I'd be looking to teach from GCSE Science, up to A-Level/International Baccalaureate in the fields of Chemistry, Biology and any overlap they have.

With this I would have a focus not only on content but also how to learn it, following attendance of a foundation course into my degree and learning the importance of learning technique to move forward and understand content.
