Cello Lessons by Artist-in-Residence of La Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth (Waterloo/ Brussels)
From 99.94 C$ /h
My name is Daniel, and I am an artist-in-residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.
I have been very fortunate to study and perform all around the world from the age of 16. Having studied with some of the greatest artists and pedagogues of our time (Gary Hoffman, Steven Isserlis, Nicolas Altstaedt, Eberhard Feltz, Rita Wagner, etc.), I would love the opportunity to pass on the knowledge and wisdom with all you cellists and cello enthusiasts/lovers out there!
In addition to my conservatory education, I have taken courses, workshops, and private sessions to further enrich my teaching and performing:
-Cello Pedagogy Course w. Prof. Marion Feldman
-The Feldenkrais Method w. Aliza Stewart
-Alexander Technique w. Alexander Olschewski
-Mindful Music Making Workshop (supporting classical musicians mentally, physically, and emotionally)
Since 2013, I have been teaching cellists of varying levels from the age of 6 to 65+, with many former students still playing the cello, and a handful of students attending some of the top conservatories in the US, UK, and Germany. From fundamentals and technique, to interpreting and performing; I look forward to joining you on your musical journey!
