About Me

I have studied in Latvia, Denmark, Spain and Austria, have attended many international master classes to expand my technical and musical skills and I know many teachers with different methods.
As an active musician, I think it's important to play to the students myself in class and also to make music together in order to be able to give more direct musical impulses.
I think you can find a personal way of expressing yourself by learning to play an instrument, that's why it is important to me to give the students the means for musical expression and to work very individually.

Hello, my name is Pia and I'm a flautist. :) I started learning the flute at the age of 8. I loved it right away, so after music school, I continued my studies at the conservatory in Maribor (Slovenia). I then studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz. In 2024, I completed my bachelor's degree at the Gustav Mahler Private University in Klagenfurt. There, I earned a degree in concert performance and a degree in instrumental pedagogy.
During my studies, I also completed a specialization course in early music, majoring in transverse flute. Therefore, I also offer lessons for beginners on this beautiful baroque instrument.
During my studies, I had several private students with whom I explored the sounds of the flute and various genres (classical, pop, jazz, folk music, improvisation, etc.). My lessons are relaxed and communicative, full of collaborative music-making.
